The NBA Season is just one day away. No better time than now to give your predictions for the upcoming season. I'll give you the format, along with my predictions, below to use. Place your thoughts in the comments and we'll take a look at this after the season is over. Anyone is welcome to participate, even if youa re a fan of another team!

Southeast -- Orlando

Northwest -- Utah
Pacific -- LA Lakers
Southwest -- New Orleans

Eastern Conference Champion -- Cleveland Cavaliers
Western Conference Champion -- New Orleans Hornets

MVP -- LeBron James
DPOY -- Kevin Garnett
ROY -- Michael Beasley
6th Man -- Lamar Odom

It seems to me that the Cavs are in for a huge trade yet again this year. I’ve always thought last year’s trade was designed to set us up for this year’s trade deadline and ultimately finding the talent to keep LeBron in Cleveland permanently.

With the expiring contracts of Wally and Snow ($20M) and marginal pieces such as Sasha or Andy, the Cavs could easily be on the receiving end of one of the huge names that are likely to be available this year. My favorite? Shawn Marion. It’s not unlikely that we could involve 1-2 other teams, and offer up those expiring contracts plus Varejao, and land a player like Marion or Lamar Odom.

I’m a Spur fan. I know boo for me, but my predictions for the season are as follows:
