2003 Draft Classmates LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony continue their invisible rivalry tonight at the Q when the Nuggets come to town. Denver has own the series the past 5 seasons going 8-2 against Cleveland. The Cavs are a different team nowadays, however, and I look forward to the challenge of turning it around starting tonight.
Can the Cavaliers' winning ways continue??

So who’s Linas Kleiza? I don’t believe that’s an actual name.
The best thing probably is to hit [Grady] 2nd -- Jay

Wow, this is his fourth year. From Missouri — who knew?

I had never heard of him until last year…He blew up a bit and had a solid season, especially early…
Big game tonight…..is it me or do all these games seem like big games this year, like the Cavaliers are taking them more seriously so I feel like they are bigger as well?

Jeez, Mo — get between your guy and the bucket!

not if they don’t play better D, and stop shooting fadeway 3s

Definitely playing to the Nuggets tempo right now….

Nugs getting too many easy points. Box out!

This is looking like an 80s Nuggets game…
148-145…The Dan Issel days.

The Nuggets are shooting well from the outside, but alot of the Cavs baskets are at the hoop. I like the Cavs chances to clamp down defensively.

Someone better start clamping.

Cavs will hold the Nuggets under 22 in the 2nd quarter….

Please put back the offense where we move and pass, instead of chucking bad 3s.

Mo Willy totally telegraphed that pass.

Waaaaaay too many easy buckets for DEN.

I agree…..And there should be no situation that J.J. Hickson doesn’t hustle back on defense…..

Nail his butt to the bench if that happens.

Just like most nights against Western Conference teams, the Cavs have allowed themselves to be baited into a transition game…

Even the halfcourt D is looking lackluster.

Where’s the D?

New Rule…
I would take anyone from the Nuggets as a FA because they all look so comfortable at the Q!

LeBron’s insurance commercial was great!

I ran some halftime stats
The Cavs offensive efficiency was a stellar 126.8, but their defensive efficiency was 133.4.
I think the second half will be considerably different than the first was.

These refs are giving ALL the calls to the Nuggets tonight

Z with the nice shooting touch this quarter.
by JulioBernazard on Nov 13, 2008 8:50 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Cavs have no answer for Billups who looks re-energized by the trade….
by John Bena (aka CavsBlogger) on Nov 13, 2008 8:57 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
So much for the 3rd quarter blahs….
Cavs outscore Denver 31-20 in the 3rd, easily their biggest Dif in a 3rd Q this year…

Great help D by Andy there. His footwork defensively was good before, but its improved dramatically this offseason.

Martin ejected! Nice to see the refs finally try to take control of the game back.

Good to see the referees find their whistles.
by JulioBernazard on Nov 13, 2008 9:34 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Good win for the Cavs. Its not the type of game they wanted, but they were still able to win it.
by Fundamentals on Nov 13, 2008 9:37 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Cavs give up 61 in the first half……only 38 in the 2nd.
2nd Highest point total of the year — 110….and LeBron “only” scores 22.
Cavs win their 6th straight and look to be getting into their groove…
