A small issue with scheduling tonight caused the game thread to post an hour late. It is up and ready now, and like the Cavs tonight needs to get going and fast!

The Bulls are a jump shooting team, and right now they are hitting their shots….Cavs need to start to defend…

Z misses a 1 footer and Nocioni hits a 23 footer….Nothing good going for the Cavs right now…

A couple quick baskets and the Bulls call time out. Z can get anything he wants inside against a smaller Bulls team playing without Drew Gooden

A 14 point lead became a 9 point deficit . The Cavs were able to cut it back to 3 at the half. With 3 home games coming up this week a road win in Chicago sure would be nice….

Back for the 3rd quarter just in time to see Ben Wallace get a rare bucket….Damn, the Cavs need to find a way to win this game…

Another basket for Wallace who is playing with some energy in front of the former home crowd…

Cavs just can’t seem to sustain energy and are getting little offense from anyone other than LeBron. Where is Mo Williams?

It pains me to see how slowly the team is with the big guys in the game.

This is old-style Cavaliers basketball…A lot of LeBron James dribbling…
by John Bena (aka CavsBlogger) on Nov 8, 2008 9:11 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
3rd quarter blahs…
Also hurts the Ben Wallace is a non-factor offensively

Seeing him stand with the ball for 3 seconds at the top of the key (with no defender within 10 feet) is not an encouraging sight.

I have never been more convinced that Noah is just a poor man’s Varejao.
by Chief WaDrew on Nov 8, 2008 9:12 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Andy is becoming an offensive force on this team…weird.

Sloppy, sloppy play right now for the Cavs…

I’m really trying not to hold my breath every time LBJ puts up a 3…but it’s kinda hard not to at this point.
by Chief WaDrew on Nov 8, 2008 9:16 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
we need a lot more of that from Boobie.
by Chief WaDrew on Nov 8, 2008 9:20 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Truth be told, I’m going to miss Wally when he’s traded
by Chief WaDrew on Nov 8, 2008 9:21 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
This might have to be 40+ minute night for LeBron if the Cavs are going to win…
by John Bena (aka CavsBlogger) on Nov 8, 2008 9:22 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
I know Noah is supposed to be a shot blocker, but he has shown himself very vulnerable to pick up fouls. LeBron taking it right to him, and he’ll pick up those remaining to fouls real quick.

If that long 3 had fallen, there would have been no point to watch the rest of the game. Except to see how many points LeBron would end up beating the buls by.

You are so right….
Love the Cavalier defense….It is becoming a trend for the Cavs to bring it in the 4th quarter…

I would almost rather them come out of halftime a little stronger, so they wouldn’t have to bring it in the 4th.

13-0 run to start the 4th quarter

Flirting with the century mark again.

Austin Carr said the Cavs need 5 good minutes to take over the game. At the time the score was 74-66 Bulls with 4 minutes to go in the 3rd….
How right he was….

With as good as our defense has looked, theirs has looked completely lost this entire quarter.
by Chief WaDrew on Nov 8, 2008 9:40 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Good timeout by Mike Brown….LeBron needs to get back in the game…

Who are the five you put in for this last five min?
by Chief WaDrew on Nov 8, 2008 9:43 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
I don’t know how you can not have Williams and Varejoa on the floor

Crucial possession for the Cavs here

Another great thing….
Cavs have some players that can hit free throws…

Has Boobie ever dunked it in a game? I mean…Ever?
by Chief WaDrew on Nov 8, 2008 9:47 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Can’t tke bad shots….Misses will create break-aways for the Bulls….
by John Bena (aka CavsBlogger) on Nov 8, 2008 9:48 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
and as good as our transition defense is…it still leaves us vulnerable

by Chief WaDrew on Nov 8, 2008 9:50 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Come on….2 seconds on the shot clock and it goes to AV??
by John Bena (aka CavsBlogger) on Nov 8, 2008 9:51 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Mo Williams, at some point, needs to hit a shot like that…
Contested, big moment…BURY IT!
