After re-upping Boobie Gibson earlier this summer at a similar clip (although Gibson isn't quite the player West is), word was that West was the odd man out. But now that he's back, giving Gibson that kind of money seems kind of silly, doesn't it?

Upside and Motor: Reasonable Free Agent Deals? Preposterous!

Rob Mahoney is definitely on board with the Cavaliers' re-signing Delonte West at a fair price, but wonders why they gave so much money to Daniel Gibson earlier this summer.

Well its not like they just “gave Gibson the money” its called negotion. And that quote seems pretty silly right? I mean I guess Ferry should use his time travel machine and go back in time to undo the contract offer to Gibson now that he knows that West does in resigns. But then what if Ferry changes the time-space continuum and West chooses not to sign and accepts the one year qualifying offer instead? Damned if you do and damned if you don’t Ferry…
