Jawad Williams, a 6-9 Forward who made a name for himself as a prep hoops star at St. Edward, just outside of Cleveland, has been invited to camp by the Cavaliers.  Williams, who played his college ball at North Carolina, has bounced around several leagues and countries.

His most sgnificant time in the NBA came in 2006-07 as a member of the Los Angelos Clippers, playing in 4 games, including a 17 point effort against the Golden State Warriors.

IN 50 career games in the NBDL, Williams has averaged 19.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists.  He also has some hops, as shown during the 2001 High School dunk contest --

The Cavaliers also released Billy Thomas.  Thomas had the opportunity to sign a guarunteed deal in Greece.
