SOmething tells me this game means alot more to the Magic than to the Cavs. A home game against a team everyone thinks is better. For the Cavs, a win and they send Mike Brown and the coaching staff to the All-Star Game. GO CAVS!

LeBron is posterizing people tonight.
But where’s the defense? Too many dunks and easy baskets for Orlando.

Yeah! That’s what we need from him.

Solid, solid, solid first quarter….Especially for the Cavaliers’ bench. That is the weakness of the Magic and the Cavs are making them pay.

That is right on! I like the way we are swarming Dwight Howard, I am glad Mike Brown made the change
Yeah, our defense picked it up late in the first.

Man, Hickson is looking really solid in his first year.
When he was drafted, I was like, “LeBron’s leaving.”
Yeah, ferry took alot of heat for that pick, mostly cuz he was not a big name guy. It seems to me that the game has slowed down for him already in his young career
I remember Jay Bilas, I think, saying JJ was going to be a good pick for the Cavs even though nobody knew who he was. Looks like he was right.

This commercial with the foreign girl who likes guys with “a little bit fat” is just… so offensive. And I’m a dude. I cringe everytime I see that.

I love that commercial!! I was just going to post something about it, actually. That girl is every guy’s dream.

The best thing probably is to hit [Grady] 2nd -- Jay
by Buckeye Brad on Jan 29, 2009 8:35 PM CST up reply actions
I just find that commercial really, really offensive, I dunno. Not saying she’s not hot, but way to perpetuate stereotypes and make a whole ’nother generation of girls feel like they need to be docile submissives.
Burn on, big river, burn on...
by Turkmenbashi on Jan 29, 2009 8:37 PM CST up reply actions
Eh, I think there’s enough of the opposite type of women on TV that one commercial isn’t going have any effect.
The best thing probably is to hit [Grady] 2nd -- Jay
by Buckeye Brad on Jan 29, 2009 8:42 PM CST up reply actions
Well yeah, but no need to perpetuate it. I know enough girls who starve themselves and engage in self-destructive behavior to please guys, I just ind it sickening.
Burn on, big river, burn on...
by Turkmenbashi on Jan 29, 2009 8:43 PM CST up reply actions
Well, many commercials play off stereotypes. How many commercials feature big, muscular men selling something? Is that damaging the psyche of little boys?
The best thing probably is to hit [Grady] 2nd -- Jay
by Buckeye Brad on Jan 29, 2009 8:46 PM CST up reply actions
Well come on, you know that’s not an issue. Men have not been treated as the weaker sex for centuries.

If you’re talking about TV, though, watch any sitcom from the last 20 years. The husband is always shown as a bumbling idiot while the woman is the strong, smart one. So I don’t think there are too many ‘submissive’ women on TV.
As far as using attractive women to sell a product, well, that’s never going to change.

Not many times have I said that this year, but this is definitely one of them….

Yep, this is a pathetic showing. We got some bad calls, and we let it get to us. I hate games like this, where we look so good for a whole half and then just completely give up.

The Magic have taken LeBron completely out of the game mentally…Now Mike Borwn should physically take him out of the game…
After the way the Cavs played on Tuesday, both sides of the floor — shoddy defense, quick-shot, perimeter offense, this was bound to happen and is why MB was concerned…
