34-10
January 29th, 2009
Orlando, FL
8:00 PM est
Radio - WTAM / TV - TNT HD
Probable starters:
Mo Williams PG Jameer Nelson
Sasha Pavlovic SG Courtney Lee
LeBron James SF Hedo Turkoglu
Ben Wallace PF Rashard Lewis
Anderson Varejao C Dwight Howard

SOmething tells me this game means alot more to the Magic than to the Cavs.  A home game against a team everyone thinks is better.  For the Cavs, a win and they send Mike Brown and the coaching staff to the All-Star Game.  GO CAVS!

Talk about the game here in the comments! They Auto-Refresh, bringing an awesome game night experience!

LeBron is posterizing people tonight.

But where’s the defense? Too many dunks and easy baskets for Orlando.

The problem is who is gonna guard Howard? He commands attention which allows defense to lack in other areas! I am interested to see what Mike Browns game plan will be for Howard when it gets later in the game

by Soko on Jan 29, 2009 7:28 PM CST up reply actions

Yeah! That’s what we need from him.

Solid, solid, solid first quarter….Especially for the Cavaliers’ bench. That is the weakness of the Magic and the Cavs are making them pay.

That is right on! I like the way we are swarming Dwight Howard, I am glad Mike Brown made the change

Yeah, our defense picked it up late in the first.

Man, Hickson is looking really solid in his first year.

When he was drafted, I was like, “LeBron’s leaving.”

by ilamuku on Jan 29, 2009 7:40 PM CST reply actions

Yeah, ferry took alot of heat for that pick, mostly cuz he was not a big name guy. It seems to me that the game has slowed down for him already in his young career

by Soko on Jan 29, 2009 7:43 PM CST up reply actions

Seems to keep on growing in each game.

I remember Jay Bilas, I think, saying JJ was going to be a good pick for the Cavs even though nobody knew who he was. Looks like he was right.

I just find that commercial really, really offensive, I dunno. Not saying she’s not hot, but way to perpetuate stereotypes and make a whole ’nother generation of girls feel like they need to be docile submissives.

Burn on, big river, burn on...

by Turkmenbashi on Jan 29, 2009 8:43 PM CST up reply actions

Well, many commercials play off stereotypes. How many commercials feature big, muscular men selling something? Is that damaging the psyche of little boys?

Burn on, big river, burn on...

by Turkmenbashi on Jan 29, 2009 8:48 PM CST up reply actions

If you’re talking about TV, though, watch any sitcom from the last 20 years. The husband is always shown as a bumbling idiot while the woman is the strong, smart one. So I don’t think there are too many ‘submissive’ women on TV.

As far as using attractive women to sell a product, well, that’s never going to change.

Very disappointing to say the least, but I stand by my earlier comment that the Magic have more at stake….

We need Wally to come alive again — or anyone to help LeBron.

I don’t have a good feeling about this game. They’re pulling away.

The Cavaliers deserve every bit of this…They got lazy after going up 10….

Not many times have I said that this year, but this is definitely one of them….

Yep, this is a pathetic showing. We got some bad calls, and we let it get to us. I hate games like this, where we look so good for a whole half and then just completely give up.

This slump is hard to watch. Someone needs to drive it in and people need to move around.

The Magic have taken LeBron completely out of the game mentally…Now Mike Borwn should physically take him out of the game…

After the way the Cavs played on Tuesday, both sides of the floor — shoddy defense, quick-shot, perimeter offense, this was bound to happen and is why MB was concerned…

Damn, LBJ should have made that. Oh well, at least the clock has stopped.
