ball don’t lie on yahoo put it perfectly:
“…this is going to be annoying. So annoying. Get ready for three hours of “analysis” from people who have absolutely no clue when it comes to salary-cap space, endorsements, LeBron’s motivations (because nobody, at this point, has any clue) or Cleveland’s own impending cap freedom."

Hickson a late-start….A bit annoyed with the 3 turnovers already – all on lazy passes…

It’s a good thing the Knicks don’t really play defense.
by Simmsinns on Nov 6, 2009 7:13 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
hughes was good on defense on that 3. it was just better offense by lebron.

It’s just not consistently in Mike D’Antoni’s philosophy.

So when can we officially sue someone for tampering? (Or does the NBA not have tampering regulations?)

How could anyone
think he would go to a team almost as bad as the Cavs were in 02-03?

“Perhaps I’m a hopeless (and gullible) romantic, but I even believe that the prospect of being the guy who resurrects the Knicks and MSG appeals to LeBron almost as much as the aforementioned Cleveland-curse-lifter scenario.”
and… why would lebron want to do that again? he’s already doing it in cleveland!

what i don’t get is why people say: “if lebron doesn’t get a ring this year, he’s gone.” do they really think lebron could come to new york or new jersey and get a ring his first year there? i doubt it would happen, and it seems like he’d just be taking a step back by leaving. he’d be having to do the same thing with those 2 teams that he did with the cavs when he first started here.

I think that if they get to at least the ECF, he definitely stays…the only way he leaves is if they push him out

I love the rotation...
Putting LeBron and Mo around Andy, Z and Delonte. Cavs running and gunning.

maybe brown has figured out Z and shaq don’t belong on the court at the same time.

I hope so...
If we all see it, he has to…

I posted something about
a “two teams” approach earlier today…this is the running/dribble penetration team…Shaq is a part of the throw the hammer down team…but they can play together effectively against some teams

Where have I seen this before?

last year w/o shaq
i’m starting to question that trade a little bit…

Shaq will work out fine once MB figures out that the best way to use him is to run the offense through him when he’s on the floor

CC= jerk. don’t take his advice, lebron.

gibson’s a lot more consistent this year, from what i’ve seen so far.

i’d like to see danny green eventually. maybe in a game when they’re up by like 25 in the 4th.

this is looking like a possible 30 point win….if LeBron can snag a few more rebounds, it might be a triple double

very…and this is exactly the situation where they should be feeding Shaq down low instead of popping 3s

you know, i’m ok with the cavs being a bit of an underdog. because recently, whenever cleveland teams are supposed to do very well, they end up with a disappointing finish. (’08 browns, cavs last year)

Phoenix up 107 to 100 on Boston, 45 seconds to play.

Haha, I’m a big fan of Chris Rock’s stand-up, but misses a huge factor. The Hornets would never trade Paul for a LeBron with an expiring contract, nor would Orlando give up Howard. Why would they give up franchise players (that are the best at their position in the whole league) for someone that can STILL leave after the season.
by Simmsinns on Nov 6, 2009 9:13 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
haha i know.
i wonder who the cavs could get during the trading period. there’s an nba trading deadline, right? when is it?
by emily522 on Nov 6, 2009 9:13 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
sometime around the middle of Feb i think

It’s a good thing we’re only playing the Knicks.
by Simmsinns on Nov 6, 2009 9:26 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
turnovers are what allowed the knicks to get back in the game. i think they had like 24 turnovers. that is not going to work against the elite.
anyways, good win. like lebron said, they didn’t finish it out like they wanted to, but i’m seeing a lot of positives. they may not win 66 games, but they’ll still make a good run.

Cleveland, Miami, and well Houston* are leading contenders based on what he’s said he wants in a team.

i could see him going to miami over ny or nj. if he leaves, i’ll be pissed but i’ll cheer for whatever team he’s on.
but he’s not going to leave. all of cleveland will be freaking out on july 1, but in the end, he will stay.

if he leaves, i’ll be pissed but i’ll cheer for whatever team he’s on.
I’m quite the opposite. If he leaves I will forever hate only LeBron himself, but what ever team lands him as well. Not only that, I’ll be among the first to buy tickets to the game where LeBron returns to Cleveland as an opponent, to BOO and jeer as loud as I can.
It’s a good thing we don’t have to worry about that because LeBron will stay in Cleveland. :)
by Simmsinns on Nov 6, 2009 9:39 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
haha, yeah. well, it would take me a long time to forgive him if he left. i’d probably have a love/hate with him after that lol.

idk how to fix it :/ if you copy-paste the full address, it should work.
basically, it was a pic of a guy with a lebron knicks jersey and a sign saying “X days until lebron comes to ny” or something like that.

by cavslandrocks on Nov 6, 2009 9:31 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
right.
lebron, if you want a ring, stay in cleveland. if you want to get your first ring 10 years from now, by all means… go to ny.
