Anyone else still sick about last night's 111-109 OT loss to Memphis?  Sure, teams lose games during an 82 game season and sometimes those losses are ugly.  Last night seems different.  The Cavaliers were beaten at their own game in a lot of ways, by a team that looked hungrier.

Luckily the Wine and Gold gets right back on the court tonight, though the Cavaliers have never really played that well in Houston.  No McGrady, no Yao Ming, no Ron Artest.

Mike Brown

didn’t get his team ready for this game. We can’t start losing to inferior teams like this and expect to pick it up in the playoffs. Brown has major issues with back to back game plans.

All Truth Goes Through Three Stages 1.It is ridiculed 2.It is violently opposed 3.Finally, it is accepted as self-evident. kinesiologist

That was harsh

Rockets are not an “inferior” team, have less talent on their roster, for sure. But, if any team does not put their best effort, they can expect to lose against this crew of rockets.

Well, that was an interesting second quarter, to say the least. If the Cavs have their usual anemic third quarter, let the “Fire Mike Brown” chants begin, as much as I hate to say it.

Mike Brown....

Fire him?…no…not unless this season ends in total disappointment (anything less than a return to the ECF)…three things he needs to start doing..

1) play Shaq LOW…the hooks and flips aren’t dropping…and the “jumpers” in the Memphis game looked forced and ridiculous….NO ONE can challenge him on a dunk…PERIOD.

2) put Mo on a short leash…If Mo starts jacking up shot after shot that doesn’t drop-as he has done in almost every Cavs loss this year-put Delonte in..at least he’ll drive or pass to someone with a higher% shot opportunity… and he appears to be getting more stable as his playing time becomes more consistent…this isn’t penalizing Mo, it’s giving him some time to collect himself…Mo’s quick shots and misses off of LeBron’s passes are the reason LeBron isn’t at 10 APG …20 pts/6 rebounds/8 assists/5 steals against Memphis…THAT is how he has to play every game…THAT is how a PG plays

3) USE your time outs…break the other team’s momentum when they go on a run….obviously letting them “play through it” is losing more games than it’s winning

Well, I think anything less than a finals appearance would be a disappointment, actually…which is somewhat of a disturbing thought at this particular point.

Dangerous combination being a Cleveland fan and having high hopes.

Who cares

None of the BIG 3 can prove anything until playoffs.

These games have zero meaning…

unless you are a rackets fan and still tip your cap to regular season success…

"Memphis then used a pick-and-roll to get Conley free and he drove past Shaquille O'Neal for the go-ahead layup."

WRONG!

These games determine seeding which is a lot of the battle in the playoffs…While I’m not sure the Cavs can pull off home court all the way through again this year, having the first two rounds at the Q would be huge for them

HOU always plays the Cavs tough. I was hoping them getting rid of Artest would help.
