Game #58 - Cleveland Cavaliers @ ATL Hawks
The Cavs roadie continues through the Dirty South, as they invade Hotlanta tonight to square off against Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, Mike Bibby, and Al Horford. They looked great against San Antonio after looking wretched at Houston. The action is on ESPN.

Will the game be followed by news of a big acquired through the mid-level exception?
Let's game thread the heck outta this thing.

No problem. Since no one else has commented, feel free to scrap it and go with an “official” one on the front page.

With the Celtics and Lakers losing today, a win tonight would help the #1 Seed overall cause.

DET is doing good work for the Cavs lately.
Should they buy out The Answer?

Was it on the ESPN broadcast? I am watching FSN

The Big Man the Cavs added
is J.J. Hickson. Mike Brown remember this morning that J.J. was still on the roster and decided to see if the kid had game.
How are the Hawks getting away with all the reaching
and slapping they are doing? I thought handchecking in the NBA was out?
Love how
well J.J is playing let him play the rest of the season and lets see how he works out.

He looks good, but I wouldn’t mind someone a little more seasoned, as well.

The sooner
we season J.J the better we will be. Now is the time to do it with Boston losing K.G and Ben Wallace out for us.

The game vs the Celtics on Friday is a big deal
Celtics fans (cough*ESPN*cough) will have to face the reality that the Cavs beat the Celts two times in a row if we can pull it off again this week.
Plus, the two game lead over the Celts in the East is huge.
Delonte has lost his confidence in his jumper
he’s pump faking and driving on 3 out of every 4 Three-Point attempts. It kills the offensive flow of the team, him passing up open jumpers in the corner.
I agree that he’s passed on a lot of 3s tonight.

8-0 run
and hardly any touches for Lebron. This is what drives me nuts about Mike Brown. The other team is on a run and we don’t get our best player the ball for 5 straight possessions.
The Joe Smith news is aweomse to hear. He’ll provide some much needed depth and scoring for the bench.

Sloppy offense has allowed the Hawks to get back in it

These mid-to-bottom Eastern Conference teams
scare me more than the Piston/Celts/Magic do in the playoffs.
How about some help…..Why let Flip Murray go one-on-one with Daniel Gibson…

Daniel
Can man to man with Flip normally but he just hasn’t been the same player this year. I hope he can find it before and during the playoffs.

Everything for the Hawks is in the paint, everything for the Cavaliers is on the perimeter

Awful, awful, awful. The Hawks go to a zone and the Cavs hoist jumpers….Then, to make it worse, there is NO DEFENSE. That is more worrisome.

Some terrible possessions for the Cavs.

Once again, Cavs are losing their composure and Mike Brown is getting completely outcoached..

That “strong pick” looked more like a hug… but then again, his foul on LeBron looked pretty light.

I wish Lebron would have confidence enough
to trust his jumper as time expires. I usually hate it when he settles for jumpers but late like that, it’s better to take the last shot with no time left. Screw tip ins, man up and win the game.
