After taking care of business on the road, the Cavaliers can really make some headway with 8 of their next 9 games at home. With just 18 games left, the Cavaliers have an excellent opportunity to earn home court throughout the entire playoffs. The quest for all of it starts tonight against the Knicks.
The Celtics have already lost today meaning the Cavaliers, with a win, would have a 4 game lead in the loss column.

Yippe! Celtics lose. Got to take advantage!
I doubt the Knicks will go down to defeat quietly but it sure would be nice to see an easy win after the last three tense games. Z needs to get his points early.

NYK put up a good fight, but the Cavs’ talent got it done. I like Sasha’s shooting lately.

Yea it has been better lately
it is certainly good to see. We have an excellent back court. When one guy is struggling another steps up. Daniel Gibson is all but lost right now and for Pavs to step up is huge. If we could ever get Gibson going again we could go with a small lineup of Joe Smith C Lebron PF, Pavs SF West SG/PG Gibson SG/PG and/or Mo.

Hey E5!
Consider this: The Celtic fans, or at least a good portion of them, will be rooting for us Tuesday to beat Orlando so they don’t drop to 3rd seed. I suppose it doesn’t make that much difference but I sure like the idea of it!

Who do we want in the first round?
Milwaukee, Chicago, New Jersey, New York or Charlotte?
I’d rank them on the ‘not afraid’ scale as:
-Charlotte
-New Jersey
-New York
-Chicago
-Milwaukee.
How about that 1st round trap for Boston, too? If they do hold on for the #2 seed, they get Detroit in the 1st round. Detroit is a down team this year but still, in the playoffs they know how to win.

I agree with you on Milwaukee
if you meant they’re the team you’re most afraid of. It’s not that any of them is a threat to win more than a game, but I worry most about injuries against Milwaukee. Scott Skiles teams seem to take on his intense/crazy personality.

They worry me because they play physical
and they have guys that can score if need be.
While I don’t know that they can beat us in a 7 game series, I wonder if things break their way they can take us to 6 or 7 games.
