Wally to miss 2-3 weeks, Darnell Jackson sent to D-League

The news from the MRI on Wally Szczerbiak's left knee is in and the results aren't great, though not horrible either.

Wally injured the knee late in the 3rd quarter and was seen hobbling to the locker room.  He told Brian Windhorst after the game that he didn't feel it was that serious and while 2-3 weeks is nothing to smile about, at least Wally should be good to go for the playoffs.

Brian Windhorst summizes that the injury will likely mean more Tarence Kinsey as well as the return of Daniel Gibson.  Gibson has been in a toe-injury related slump all season and has been firmly planted to the bench the past two games.  Kinsey, when given the opportunity, has played well in spurts and provides some size in the backcourt.

One player the injru didn't save was F Darnell Jackson, who was sent to the Erie Bayhawks of the NBADL.  The visit shouldn't last too long, however, with the team expected to bring Jackson back for tomorrow's game against Portland.

Cavaliers coach Mike Brown wants to be sure everyone is ready to go come playoff time, and sometimes the 'big-boy' games don't allow Brown to use much of his bench.  The D-League is a good opoortunity to get guys like Jackson some playing time.
