With that long break, if the Hawks/Heat series goes long, as I think it will, it might be better not to win early. You don’t want TOO much rest between games.

During the regular season...

teams get back-to-back games with little preparation or practice beween games. Then, come playoff time, it all changes. I suppose it is because more playoff games can be televised and that makes sense but I hate that the playoffs drag on until mid-freakin-June.

Can hardly wait to see the Cavs! Especially if we can win the Big Chalupa!

So I told her," I'll be nicer if you try to be smarter!'..That was a mistake.

First

playoff game is already this Saturday?

so god forbid we sweep Detroit, that means we wouldn’t play again until at least May 5? A minimum 9 day layoff?

That won’t be good for continuity at all.

Good job on your preview

I think you’re prediction is a little more head on than mine. I was going for a little shock factor, yet still have the Cavs winning. Which should tell you something about this series then haha

Hey BPackey

Nice job on starting a blog for Detroit. A team like the Pistons really deserves one on SBNation.

We will thump Detroit

The last time they beat us was back in November and that was before the Chauncy Billups trade. Now they are faltering and we are ascending.

They are getting healthy though

and they have good veteran leadership with Iverson gone. It will be tougher than people think.

they were the team i was least comfortable facing in the 8 slot. there’s just so much playoff experience and veteran guile on that squad…they sure aren’t going to lay down. i say it goes 5.
