Pistons Coverage -- MotownStringMusic
Probable starters:
Rodney Stuckey PG Mo Williams
Richard Hamilton SG Delonte West
Tayshaun Prince SF LeBron James
Antonio McDyess PF Anderson Varejao
Rasheed Wallace C Zydrunas Ilgauskas

LeBron James and the Cavaliers look to take a 2-0 lead over Detroit when their 1st Round Playoff series continues tonight at The Q.  The Cavaliers are 40-2 at home this year, and a 2-0 deficit could mean a quick and hasty exit for the Pistons.

The Pistons have said all the right things heading into Game 2, including Rasheed Wallace's proclamation that the Pistons need to "Knuckle Up".  Unlike Cavalier teams of the past, however, the Wine and Gold have plenty of scoring options surrounding LeBron.  It truly is a 'pick your poison' scenario, one that Detroit may not be able to do anything about.

Talk about the game here in the comments! They Auto-Refresh, bringing an awesome game night experience!

Kwame Brown!! Way to get your name mentioned!

by gte619n on Apr 21, 2009 8:12 PM CDT reply actions

Is he the most recent bust in the NBA?

by ilamuku on Apr 21, 2009 8:14 PM CDT up reply actions

Yeah, but Kwame was more recent.

by Buckeye Brad on Apr 21, 2009 8:18 PM CDT up reply actions

Yeah, he’s looking like a bust. JJ Reddick, too.

by Buckeye Brad on Apr 21, 2009 8:20 PM CDT up reply actions

But were they taken as high as Kwame?

by ilamuku on Apr 21, 2009 8:21 PM CDT up reply actions

Well, Kwame was first overall, so it’s hard to match that. But I think Morrison was top 5 at least. Reddick wasn’t that high.

by Buckeye Brad on Apr 21, 2009 8:22 PM CDT up reply actions

Kellen Winslow Jr?

by gte619n on Apr 21, 2009 8:19 PM CDT up reply actions

Darko for sure the biggest bust, because he was taken in front of wade

by Soko on Apr 21, 2009 8:23 PM CDT up reply actions

thank you i knew i was missing one, hands down biggest bust DARKO

by Soko on Apr 21, 2009 8:28 PM CDT up reply actions

And the Indians are up big. This almost as fun as Saturday’s Cavs/Tribe doubleheader.

by Buckeye Brad on Apr 21, 2009 8:14 PM CDT reply actions

All we need is 14 more days like this, and both teams are in good shape.

by gte619n on Apr 21, 2009 8:17 PM CDT reply actions

please tell me all of you have seen the cavs playoff proposal video?

by Soko on Apr 21, 2009 8:18 PM CDT reply actions

it is a must see

by Soko on Apr 21, 2009 8:20 PM CDT up reply actions

That’s pretty funny.

It looks like they actually like each other.

by gte619n on Apr 21, 2009 8:25 PM CDT up reply actions

Yeah, that’s awesome! Pretty funny idea.

And I love watching this Cavs team. They all seem to genuinely enjoy playing together, and LeBron is at the center of it all. He’s become such a great leader. You can tell everyone loves playing with him.

by Buckeye Brad on Apr 21, 2009 8:27 PM CDT up reply actions

He will retire the greatest sports figure Cleveland has ever seen.

by Turkmenbashi on Apr 21, 2009 8:32 PM CDT up reply actions

And I don’t want to be the one who tells Bob Feller . . .

by Buckeye Brad on Apr 21, 2009 8:32 PM CDT up reply actions

Hate to tell Bob, but he’s not even #1 right now

I'm *always* in the driver's seat, cugino -- Chuck

by Turkmenbashi on Apr 21, 2009 8:32 PM CDT up reply actions

Yeah, he’s certainly behind Jim Brown. It’s hard to beat the greatest running back in the history of football.

by Buckeye Brad on Apr 21, 2009 8:34 PM CDT up reply actions

Not when you could quite possibly have the best basketball player in history, (a caveat he still has alot to do)

by Soko on Apr 21, 2009 8:35 PM CDT up reply actions

Brown is #1 right now, no doubt.

I'm *always* in the driver's seat, cugino -- Chuck

by Turkmenbashi on Apr 21, 2009 8:37 PM CDT up reply actions

I was saying Feller is behind Brown, not LeBron. Of course LeBron is behind them right now, but he probably won’t be at the end of his career.

by Buckeye Brad on Apr 21, 2009 8:40 PM CDT up reply actions

I dunno if I’m sure I’d say Feller is even the best Indian

I'm *always* in the driver's seat, cugino -- Chuck

by Turkmenbashi on Apr 21, 2009 8:43 PM CDT up reply actions

Tris Speaker may have him beat. Maybe Nap Lajoie, too. Not really sure who else — Manny? Maybe Grady some day, but he’s got a way to go.

by Buckeye Brad on Apr 21, 2009 8:45 PM CDT up reply actions

Boudreau?

I'm *always* in the driver's seat, cugino -- Chuck

by Turkmenbashi on Apr 21, 2009 8:48 PM CDT up reply actions

He was good, but doesn’t compare to any of those guys historically. No way he’s top 5 at his position.

by Buckeye Brad on Apr 21, 2009 8:53 PM CDT up reply actions

Fair enough. Just trying to think of other guys.

Hmm, I actually like him. I think he gives good observations about the game (but he’s no Hubie Brown, of course).

by Buckeye Brad on Apr 21, 2009 8:33 PM CDT up reply actions

Kinda surprised the Pistons physically even bothered to show up for the 2nd half.

by gte619n on Apr 21, 2009 8:33 PM CDT reply actions
