Attention Magic Fans
Attention Magic Fans:
This is a Cavs Blog. Go back to your blog and stuff it. I don't care why you think about the Magic. I don't care that you think we, the Cavs fans, aren't giving the Magic respect. I don't like the Magic. I refuse to give them a modicum of respect? You know why? They are playing my tam. That's why. I want them to lose. I want the Cavs to blow them out by 50 for the rest of the series. Will it happen? Probably not. Could the Cavs lose? Of course.
Guess what? I don't want to talk about that with you. You aren't going to convince me. It is such a pointless enterprise for a fan of another team to go to the hornet’s nest of another team and whine and moan about how their team isn't getting respect from their opponents fans.
I don't go over to the Magic Blog and blow hot air about how great the Cavs are. I shut my damn mouth, talk about the Cavs to my other Cavs fans, and hope my team wins. You don't want our respect. I don't want your respect for the Cavs. I just want my team to win. Your respect or what you think about it is irrelevant to me.
If you want to have a conversation with us here about the series then fine. But don't come in here moaning about respect and talking about how great your team is because no one here gives a flying leap.
If the Cavs beat the Magic and I came over to the Magic Blog and was spouting off about how the Cavs kicked the Magic's ass and how great we were, that would make me an asshole. Why would you want to hear from me if your team just lost/got eliminated?
Stop posting ridiculous, irrelevant crap here. If the Magic win the series that should be enough of you. Coming here and writing about the merits of the Magic is not going to change anyone’s mind. We are Cavs fans. If you just want to kick up some shit go over to the Lakers or Dever blogs and start prematurely talking smack to them. I'm sure they'll welcome it just as much as we welcome you telling us we are a one-man team.

A little strongly worded, better I generally agree. I’m sure we’re all about having good discussion and maybe even a little friendly trash talk, but that’s where the line is drawn. If anyone comes in here being disrespectful, especially to the point of attacking other posters, they’re gone. I assume the same would be true on any SBN blog.

Oh, and Im not a magic fan, but it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out they can post wherever they want, sorry bud
People can post wherever they want if they’re not being jerks with their comments.

…just curious…are we allowed to give Celtics fans a hard time here as long as we’re nice the Cavs fans..?:)

Amazing logic. Did you even read what I read? There was a magic fan post assholic comments at the end of last nights open thread.
I also never said they couldn’t post wherever they want. I said they were morons for posting here and only trying to cause trouble.
If you can form an actual argument, we can talk.
Also…a poor sport is someone who rubs in a win to other players/fans. Not the guy who calls them out for doing so.

My .02
Trash talk is part of the fun. I have no problem with it, except for when it gets PERSONAL. Magic fans that want to come over a troll will be dealt with appropriately. Magic fans that come out, and want to talk like adults, that’s great too. Just don’t say anything about a particular member, and try not to stoop to 6th grade name-calling.

Thanks for your response. We know most Magic fans are good people; it’s always a few that make everybody look bad.

Thanks GoMagic!
When people can be cool it makes watching the games much more enjoyable. I’d happily sit down with you and crack open a beer and watch a game.
Cheers and good luck! (Just not too much luck)

All I asked is why the Cavs are 1-5 against Magic and Lakers this year
And still no answers just posts written by a guy who Quotes diddy,
Look to my signature on my thoughts of “men” who quote diddy.
Still no answer as to why the Cavs are 1-5 against lakers and Magic
While Magic are 5-1 vs Cavs and Lakers
Anyone care to tell my why cavs are no where to be found when they play an elite team?
Some people swear they down as can be

Cavs are “nowhere to be found”? Dude, they lost by ONE POINT. You’re acting like they were blown out. We had a good shot to win the game in the last posssesion but it didn’t fall. That shot was the difference in the game — if that shot falls then the Cavs win and everyone is praising them. It was a close game and could have gone either team at the end, so to say that the Cavs are “nowhere to be found” is ridiculous.
Nobody is responding to you because of crap like this. You post has no basis in reality. The Cavs didn’t fold and weren’t scared, the Magic just played better in the second half. The Cavs were the best team in the NBA for the regular season and they proved it over 82 games. To act like they can’t beat the Magic or the Lakers is just silly. Posting crap like this shows you’re just trying to start fights, you’re not intersted in having an intelligent basketball discussion.

Still searching for Empircal Evidence in your post
so far 1-5 against Magic and Lakers is all that sticks.
yay you lost by one point to a Magic team that showed up for 24 minutes
Horray!!!
Explain zero wins against lakers and 1-3 vs Magic this year.
I would explain the DOMINATION the pistons have over us, but i cant.
you could just say that.
You can’t explain why the cavs are 1-5 against Lakers and Magic

Your explanation:
The Cavs are 1-5 against the Lakers and Magic because the Cavs lost to the Lakers and Magic 5 times and only beat the Magic once.
Whoa! Look at that everyone! I explained it. I did it.
If what you mean to say is “do we have an excuse as to why the Cavs have lost 5 times to the Magic and Lakers this year?”
No, I’d say no excuse. The REASON is because the Magic and the Lakers out played the Cavs and beat them on those nights. Hard as it might be for you to understand, I have no problem saying my team got beat when my team got beat.
If the Magic are the better team, they will win the series and move on. That’s fine. You won;t see me making excuses here and you sure as shit won’t see me over at the Magic blog predicting the Cavs sweep the next four game. I’ll let the Cavs play do the talking instead of running my mouth.
The Magic fans who come over here spouting trash should try it sometime.

Evidence of what?? The Cavs match up poorly against the Magic because we don’t have anyone who can guard Dwight Howard and Lewis is a problem for Varejao. The NBA is all about matchups, and the Cavs have trouble with Orlando. Is that what you want to hear?
But don’t come here saying the Cavs are “nowhere to be found” like they’re not trying to play. That’s ridiculous. You’re just trying to pick fights. Try to act more like MagikFanatic who came here to discuss basketball with a reasonable tone.

Oh and I am not acting like they can't beat the Lakers
I am using the Mo Williams era stat of 0-2 against the lakers.
So no acting.
just stating fact

Two games mean NOTHING. Don’t you get that? NOTHING. If you knew anything about statistics you would know that you can’t make any judgements based on a small sample. Anything can happen over two games; that tells you nothing about the quality of the team. Look at the whole season to judge a team, not a couple games here and there. That’s why nobody cares about your “facts”.
by Buckeye Brad on May 22, 2009 10:30 AM CDT up reply actions
Yeah, the Cavs are 1-4 agaisnt the Lakers and Magic. Only played the Magic 3 times this year. I didn’t respond to you because this shows you are likely to lie about statisitcs to use them to your advantage. And the only reason they lost the home game to the Lakers is because, due to injuries they no longer have, they were forced to play a rookie on Lamar Odom the second half. Said rookie forgot how to box out. The Cavs were up 10 in that game before that scenario transpired.
the cavs played the magic twice in orlando. had there been 2 games in cleveland, the odds suggest that the season series would have been 2-1 cavs. that’s scheduling.
i find it interesting that you fail to point out that the cavs were 2-0 against the nuggets.

as for the 0-2 against the lakers…well, we lost 2 games. not sure what you’re looking for.

LOL@2-0 vs nugz
WOOOOOOOOOOOO
Yeah they were a real powerhouse in the regular season!!!
OOPS, does that make the notion that regular season records do not mean a dam things?
Last time i checked Orlando and Denver Both have Home court advantage despite inferior regular season records.
The better team always win in a 7 game series.
remember this
and then remember Warriors Mavs 1st round.
Sorry Cavs

Nearly half the “Magic” fans here are probably fans of another team. If you aren’t, I beg your pardon then.
I thought it was against the rules to go against a team’s blog like this?
All of a sudden I’ve seen an over-spill of bad manners.
It’s usually team’s fans that turn me against the team, and this time is no different..
cavs
whats that saying? live by the sword die by the sword
posting
Whats wrong with two teams on one blog discussing the merits of the game? Nobody needs to brag or rub it in let the games speak for themselves, meanwhile we can discuss the teams advantages and weakness.
