Who would you want to play with LeBron?
Which player from ANY team would you like to team up with LeBron in Cleveland?
I constantly hear that LeBron needs another superstar in order to succeed.
So who do you think that should be?
I'm leaving this pseudo-poll open to ANY of the current players in the league right now.
ANY of them. No restrictions. No free agency. No salary. As long as they are a current player. (Injured such as KG are acceptable)
Who do you think would click with LeBron? All cards on the table, but you can only pick one to ship to Cleveland.
Personally I would love to see King James and D-Wade together since they are my two favorite players, but I don't think it would be a perfect fit on the team.
Who you got?

Only one player... not rebuild the entire team
to answer the original question…. one player…. hmmmm….. without a doubt, it would have to be CP3 Chris Paul

The New Addition!?!
Was anybody aware that Yao Ming is supposed to be a free agent in 2010? Can anybody confirm this information? Could he be the newest addition to our beloved Cavs in 2010 along with the signing of “The King”? Everyone knows Z has lost a couple of steps and is just about ready to retire, and we dearly need a “big” to alter or block shots, clog the middle and run the floor on the fast break! And what about the new chinese ownership group? Does Dan Gilbert have a plan? Makes you say, “Hmmmmmm”!

Additional Player
Guards are solid with Mo, West and Gibson. Sasha is decent defensively and has some size that helps with certain matchups. And of course LeBron can play four positions. Ading another guard is more of a luxury than a need.
The glaring need is at the 4 and 5. Howard abused Cleveland in the paint. Z has little if anything left. Wallace is about the same and in fact he may retire. Varejao can’t score or jump. Wally is too slow and only worth 1/10th of what he made last year. Joe Smith is aging and limited physically. Cleveland needs to add a physical force in the paint.
2009 F/A; Lamar Odom, Carlos Boozer, Mehmet Okur, Marcin Gortat. Gortat is restricted but it might be possible to get him. I’d take him over Z or Varajao any day. I’d take any of these players over the five Cleveland players listed above.
2010 F/A: too many to list.
Another option might be to go after Chris Bosh or Yao Ming now. They are both free agents after this year. Bosh won’t return to Toronto. Not sure about Ming.

Kings fan here
Honestly, I think Kevin Martin would make one hell of a teammate for LeBron. If you double LeBron you leave a very good shooter open. And I would argue that K-Mart is better at drawing fouls than even LeBron (he was 2nd in the NBA in FTA), since it is in fact his go to move. The Kings really have only one star on the team in Martin, and even with being the focus of the enemy defense, he still manages to average 25 points a game with ridiculous efficiency. Pair him up with James and they’d be monsters.

If Ferry could do some wheeling to get this done, I’d be excited.
