Cavs defeat
I am a late bloomer into sports, and basketball for sure. I was a fan of the Cavs back when Danny Ferry was playing but not hardcore.
Then I read about this LeBron guy and got hooked. This season, as a lifelong fan of Cleveland (my grandparents lived behind the Cleveland zoo in the 50's and 60's) has been a gift to Cleveland.
I live 60 miles south of the city and try and get there for all sorts of things; the Beachland Ballroom for live music, The West Side Market for great foods, the museums, the zoo, and of course, the Cavs and the Indians (not a Browns fan anymore).
I read Cleveland.com almost every day and am horrified by the posts that supposed Clevelander's write about their city and their teams. I know it isn't all good there but if you hate it and the teams so much; then either move or pick another team to root for!
I for one, look forward to next season already. I took a long nap today and then an long drive to clear my head of the loss and feel somewhat better. They played better this year than last and imagine what could come next year? They may not have the magical season they did this one; but doesn't mean they couldn't make the playoffs and then take the golden ring.
Come on fans; thank the team for a great ride this year and take pride in Cleveland, a city on the rise. I know I am sending the front office a thank you note and heading to the Beachland on Friday night and the Rock Hall on the following Monday and waiting for the new season of Cavs' ball to begin!

I am Not a Basketball Fan at all
But, I have got to give LeBron his credit amazing with the amount he did I know that Cleveland really wants a Championship-Don’t count on the Browns;). You guys need some other people in there who he can depend on in critical situations.About that walking away after game 6 well, in might be Okay but, if I were in his position I would have shook everyone’s hand there said"Good Game and Good Luck in the Finals" and left the arena with my head held up high…There is always next year.
Amazing, Jamarcus Russell hands off to McFadden who pitches it back to Russell who finds Darrius Heyward Bey in the Middle of the Field wide open 30, 20,10,5 Touchdown Raiders! Amazing. This telecast is Brought to you by Cable.

To your quote:
“Come on fans; thank the team for a great ride this year and take pride in Cleveland, a city on the rise.”
Why thank the team when they lost?
“Why would you go over, shake hands with someone when they just beat you up?”
Ahhh.
Now it’s starting to make sense.
