Classic Dwight. Tooting his own horn rather than letting other folks speak for him.

I think with his play so far he deserves the right to talk a little.

I would love to see how he would function if they didn’t allow him to just camp out in the lane for the entire game.

Exactly. I imagine that Bynum will significantly cut his production in half.

Well as a bitter Cavs apologist I wasn’t exactly taking the high road there. I meant it was the refs letting him camp out in the “three second” lane. But, I suppose the Cavs frontline did their fair share of letting him stay there as well.

Yeah, because Andrew “Tender Knee” Bynum has been really effective during these playoffs. HA!

I think the internet would explode
if Howard couldn’t camp out in the lane or if LeBron couldn’t run people over and get fouls called on him

I really don’t like the Magic after the disappointing defeat, but you got to like Dwight Howard. The guy is simple fun loving ball player, I really like his attitude toward the game and this commercial was pretty funny.
He is like the Hines Ward of basketball. But, instead of blindsiding defenseless corners, he throws elbows. And often spends enough time in the key to set up a camp fire.
(But for the record, I don’t like Hines Ward.)

I feel the opposite. I have nothing but respect for the rest of the Magic, but I hate Bizarro.

I don’t know, I just can’t bring myself to “hate” the guy. I do hate when he plays against us. Only because his attitude changes when he’s under the basket. He tries to fake this tough guy demeanor, which is almost funny to watch because it just isn’t him. Like watching a clown try to act big and bad.
I guess I like him in more of a amusing kind of way. Like enjoying a comedy act rather than a ball player or as a person.
Another issue that really gets on my nerves is that “little ol’ poor me” bullsh*t he’s always claiming. He feels so sorry for himself, because the big bad media “disrespected” him. The Nike commercials were so MEAN. Poor wittle Magic, every one one counted them out. :‘(
Dude Dwight, get over yourself. Ok, maybe I don’t like him as much as I thought, not that I think about it.

I think you just explained why I hate Dwight Howard. Hines Ward of basketball sounds about right.

This commercial looks oh so pathetic after Thursday nights performance.
Here is a nice Nelson Muntz “HA! HA!”

I bet Kobe and the Lakers felt disrespected! The Magic got all the media attention! Waaah!

Dwight has a goofy side that is easy to market
LeBron too. Would not be surprised to see Dwight in quite a few more commercials for that reason.
