Shaq vs. Beckham?

As all of us Cav fans know, Shaq is going to bring a new sense of urgency for a title.  He is also going to bring his media circus with him.  Hopefully he will compliment the king, but we will see.

In the latest Shaq news, he is challenging David Beckham to a "soccerball" match.

Here is a link for everyone

In the link they quote Shaq several times

“I kno u heard about my Shaq Vs show, anyway u will never score a goal on me, I challenge you lil man”

After no response Shaq said…

“David beckham I kno u hear me, dnt be scared, dnt make me call u out, u will never score a goal on me.”

Still nothing so Shaq recently posted this…

“Dnt make me tweet to 2 million people that your scared of shaq, u betta respond, if u scared get a dog.”

As a fan, I love it.  It is gaining attention outside of our man Lebron.  I also think it will be good for the attention to be spread around.  The Shaq project is in full swing!!!

Shaq

is da man. Shaq just wants to prove once and for all that soccer is a joke sport. Even the best soccer players can’t really compete in any real sport and any real sports player would kill even the best soccer players at their own sport. The lesson, soccer is not a sport or worth playing, watching or talking about.

I'm not a soccer fan but...

…soccer(or football for the rest of the world) is the most popular global sport. You saying that the best soccer players can’t compete in other sports is just insane. Do you realize that the best athletes in other countries usually play soccer rather than basketball or baseball. Even the great Hakeem Olajuwon attributes his great footwork abitlities to playing soccer as a youth.

Also Shaq’s fat ass isn’t proving anything but the fact that he is nothing but an over the hill, overweight, attention whore.

Oh I forgot...

…Shaq plays for the Cavaliers. That magically makes him a god to Cleveland fans. Do you bow down and worship him like LeBron? Or do you just include him as a sidenote in your worship to LeBron so you don’t steal some of his thunder and piss off the “almighty King James”.

no, your comment is stupid not b/c i’m blindly loyal to the cavs and their players, but b/c it shows no knowledge of basketball, whatsoever. last year, shaquille was the made the third team all-nba. that means, for the slow kids, that he was voted as the third best center in all of basketball.

i’m not sure how that jives with any of your (unfounded) theories that he is: over the hill, overweight, attention whore. but, you know, thanks for the input.

and i’ll leave the stupidity of your “oh i forgot” to stand on its own merits…

Shaq

is indeed overweight, over the hill and an attention whore but he is still going to help this team win a championship.

Do you know how big a soccer goal is?

24 feet wide. There is no way that fatass is going to block a goal that is being kicked by one of the best soccer players in the world.
