yeah, but keeping him out of the East is also a good thing in my opinion. The Laker’s are going to be about the same this year as last year, which was a very very good team, but not unbeatable in a series.

if it were a miami in the east, i would rather have seen that than him returning to the lakers.

you’re right about them being tough, not unbeatable, but ariza/artest is probably a wash for 09-10, and i’m always afraid that bynum is finally going to take that big step forward.

That’s true about bynum, but its just as likely that someone (Odom for example) has an off year or takes a step back.

the only good that came out of this is that the Laker front offices are finally showing some loyalty to their players.
