In love with Lebron James???
If LBJ left Cleveland for another team in 2010( i am not saying he will or that he should), would you still be a fan or his? and would you continue to be a fan of the Cavaliers?
Also, if Lebron James played for a rival team like Boston or Orlando (highly unlikely), would you become fans of those teams, or just follow "the king" from afar?
Last question is, if Lebron James played for the Lakers (i hate them), how would you feel and would you become a Lakers fan because of Lebron?

ill answer first!
If LBJ left the Cavs high and dry i would still be a fan of his, but i would want Cleveland to win a championship still, bottom line, LBJ or not, i am still a Cavs fan.
If he played for Boston or Orlando, I’d cheer for him against other teams, not against the Cavs though…and if he landed with the Lakeshow? daaaaam!!! consider me NOT a fan of his anymore hahaha…real talk.

OK Nelly, a few things:
1. Please don’t create three FanPosts at once
2. Don’t use bold type when you’re writing your FanPosts
3. You already had a long discussion about Raja Bell and Delonte West, so why did you make another FanPost about it? That was not necessary so I deleted it. You can continue that discussion in your original post; why did you think you needed to make another post about it?

I have seen you make comments over at SSR
Yet you are given a little bit of authority and the moment something doesn’t agree with your stomach you erase it? Man up! We all get judged but some of us can take it. Let NELLY808 speak his mind. This isn’t the Buckeyebrad.com/blog. But I guess you are going to erase this to. dude grow a pair!
I dont want to be the next Michael Jordan, I only want to be Kobe Bryant.

my personal playground
hahaha, i had to laugh on that one dude…is this only for intelligent conversations only? hahahaha
man you guys crack me up! i am posting more stuff later on, not because this my personal playground, but because some of the stuff that gets posted on here is so unoriginal, its usually reposts from other sites or from other users..haha, oh well, i guess i got 2 guys consistently harrassing me to stay inline…haha, fun:)

Typing whatever comes to your head isn’t beneficial here. This is a place for all Cavs fans can come and discuss the Cavs. 3 straight Fanposts, when one is something already discussed, or type all in bold, or not using the reply button make things more difficult for everyone around you. One person just diving into the pool, without looking, to make a big splash doesn’t make a better place for everyone. In fact, its usually the opposite.

well done
and thanks for sticking up for the new guy…it sucks to know some people dont even give you a chance, i posted those things to spark some interests in another direction, it seems as if though people come on here only to argue, something refreshing was desperately needed to be posted instead of all things too common.

buckeye brad
well sir i reposted that bell vs delonte debate again in hopes to show doubters that i may have some supporters…i mean you make me out to be a numbskull ..haha..you try hard to belittle me and its kinda funny, i mean you do not even know me in the least, you have no idea of how capable my intellect can be and how deep it goes..especially when it comes to sports….i come on here because i am a fan of the cleveland cavaliers and also because i immediately saw the need of some new topics to be discussed instead of the norm…or “reposts” from other sites…boooooooring! …very much over it brad, and i do not appreciate you deleting my posts.
however, i do respect others greatly as i am not into the whole “internet bully” thing that tons of people practice online because …well…they just cant do it in real life! haha..dude i am the nicest guy you will ever meet and i am very chill, you will find out….i like to be involved, i like to get the gears in motion so to speak….oh and i am also 6ft6 247lbs born and raised in hawaii and work out 6 days a week and train in the mixed martial arts…have been doing for about 2 years now…just to stay in shape…
so with that being said, please please please pay better atention to those who you think you have some control over and maybe even some intimidation …because um yea….we might meet someday:)
thank you for letting me know not to post in bold, i never knew that was against the rules…i mean why in the world do they have that option in the first place?..hhmmm makes no sense to me..but thank you brad, i hope you and i can be friends someday.

First of all, chill. I am glad that you are adding new content to discuss on this site, that’s always appreciated. But please put some thought in to your FanPosts and make them something which can lead to a good discussion; don’t just make one every time a thought pops in your head. Posting three at once is not necessary, especially when some of them are repeats of what you’ve already posted.
Also, don’t post the same discussion you were already having in a new post just to “show doubters than I may have some supporters.” If you have supporters they can show their support in the original discussion. I don’t see why it’s necessary to start a new post. If the only reason is that you’re looking for people to agree with you, because you weren’t getting support somewhere else, then that’s not a good reason. Let the discussions go on where they are and people who want to join will do so.
I really appreciate your contributions to this site but we need to keep things orderly to make it easier for everyone who visits. We don’t want the same discussion going on in several different places. I’m sure you can understand this.
Also, the bold option is there to bold certain words or phrases for emphasis. It’s not there to bold your entire post — that makes it look like you’re yelling. Why you type a paper or a letter to someone, do you type the entire thing in bold? Of course not. Same thing here. It’s not that hard to understand.

Haha, I actually missed that part — by the time I got to the end of his rant I was just skimming. Wow, that’s got to be the first time I’ve been threatened online. I guess I’d better be careful the next time I visit Hawaii; I’ll try to remember not to bring my shirt which says “I’m Buckeye Brad from Fear The Sword.”

I will hate LeBron at first, but then gradually probably be a fan of his again after a few years.
I will not root for any other teams.

I will despise Lebron if he leaves. I am really not an NBA fan, haven’t liked it since the late 80’s. I really only watch because it is Cleveland’s best chance to win a title right now.

If it is possible
I think some home the Knicks get Lebron and Wade next year. The NBA wants it bad so they will make it happen. Two things I feel more confident about all the time, one is the Cavs will win the NBA title and two Lebron is leaving for the big city. Lets face it if he really wanted to stay in Cleveland he would have said so already.

It the only way Wade leaves
is to join LB (NY)J in New York but LB (NY) J will leave for any reason even if he gets less money to play basketball.

You’re right, LeBron and Wade won’t be on the same team next year, and neither of them will be in NY. They’ll both stay with the teams they’re with now. LeBron is not leaving Cleveland, and I’d be surprised if Wade left Miami but I don’t know that situation very well.
by Buckeye Brad on Aug 9, 2009 8:53 PM CDT up reply actions 0 recs
you really think so?
Wade said himself he wants to be on a contending team, that would win a championship in the near future. I doubt he sees that in Miami.

Lets face it if he really wanted to stay in Cleveland he would have said so already.
That’s not necessarily true. It makes sense for him not to sign an extension this summer, and secondly, you don’t think Lebron likes ‘all eyes on him?’ You don’t think he’ll enjoy all the speculation and attention he will receive all over the country because of this uncertainty? I actually am pretty confident he plans on staying, just as I was confident he was going to leave a few years back. I’m not just saying that because I’m a ‘homer’ or anything, either.

Lebron and Wade don't even compliment each other
You’ve got two players who’s best ability is driving to the hoop. Other than that aspect of their game, the rest of their offensive repertoire is average, at best. It would never work, because essentially both players have to have the ball in their hands to be effective. Neither is a spot up shooter, and LBJ still has no post game.

I’m pretty sure that LeBron and Wade, two of the four or five best basketball players on the planet, could find a way to work together on one team. It would be impossible for a defense to double-team both, so whichever is single covered would be absolutely lethal. Also, despite what you may think, LeBron (and Wade) can score without driving to the hoop — you can’t be first or second in the league in scoring with only one move.

LBJ
no post game are you serious? Sure its not the strongest part of his game but he can play in the post quite well and most of his assists to Delonte and Mo came from the post so maybe you should review the tape because at this point you don’t have a clue.

I have to agree with the guy above
Wade and LBJ just would not make a good tandem. Their talent would be wasted. And he was dead on —-the rest of their game is average at best. Don’t get me wrong, both Wade and Lebron are DEADLY driving to the hoop, and around the rim are excellent finishers. But thier mid-range, post up, catch and shoot, shoot off the dribble, etc, is pedestrian.
Kobe on the other hand has almost every facet of his game at the highest level. This is why although LBJ/Wade are both more dominant than Kobe, Kobe is still the better player. He spreads the floor and creates huge openings for his teammates. Kobe’s game makes other players on his team far better than they are. Can you say Trevor Ariza, Derick Fisher, Lamar Odom? Pau Gasol is a force on any team. But the first three are average at best. Yet they were critical on a championship team. Why? Because Kobe is on that team. Would these guys be just as good on a team with Lebron/Wade? I don’t think so.

Would these guys be just as good on a team with Lebron/Wade? I don’t think so.
first off, there is a massive separation b/w wade and LeBron, and certainly as it relates to making players around them better. secondly, it is widely acknowledged across the nba that players would much rather play with LeBron than they would kobe. and it’s not close.
so, you know, nice effort…but you get zero points.

Odom would
be an All Star anywhere else. If anything playing with Kobe hurts Odom’s skills. Ariza really isn’t as good as he appears to be as was the case in the post season. Small sample size on Ariza and mainly his biggest pluses are as a defender and not a all around player. Gasol was a force in Memphis and that wasn’t going to change in LA. Your premise that Kobe makes players around him better is absolutely false. I wouldn’t say Lebron makes players around him better either but almost the entire league would rather play with him.
Additionally Wade has a nice outside J thats what makes his driving more effective. Lebron is an all around player and while his outside J and post up is a work in progress it is far better the 90% of the league. Get your fact straight, come back later when you know the game. Thanks, Good bye.
