Why Delonte

Cleveland Cavilers guard Delonte West was arrested in Maryland last Thursday for speeding and carrying 3 firearms ( Beretta 9m, 357 magnum, Shotgun).

My first question is if knowing its illegal to carry concealed weapons in Maryland, why would someone do so on a motorcycle. It would make sense to travel in a car or truck, a vehicle were you could hide the weapon if stopped. The arresting officer reported Delonte was speeding and cut him off which is why he stopped Delonte and upon approaching the motorcyclist Delonte said he had a gun. My second question has to be what would posses a man to speed while knowingly breaking the law. I mean if  I’m riding with a trunk full of heroin the last thing I want to do is draw attention to myself. On top of that He cuts off a cop (no comment).

The carelessness shown in this situation baffles me because I can’t understand risking all that money. Some of these athletes can’t process that when being in limelight 24/7 and receiving million dollar salaries, its not only expected but mandatory you uphold model citizenship. It does make sense to carry protection when in a position like Delonte but you have to be more careful.

That's the nature of mental illness....

I don’t know what his diagnosis is: Bi-polar, manic depressive, etc…… whatever. But MI causes people to act irrationally and illogically. He’s seems to drift from normal and rational at times, then back to the MI behavior.

I think it’s likely that he understands the problems and reprecussions of his behavior when he’s lucid and dosen’t when he not.

Plaxico Burress on-the-other-hand? Now, that’s just plain stupid.

So I told her," I'll be nicer if you try to be smarter!'..That was a mistake.

After seeing the clip of Delonte talking about how ‘gangsta’ Bugs Bunny was a couple years ago, I was pretty sure that no one would ever mistake him for a genius.

I’m just glad a police officer pulled over Delonte before something really bad happened.

I still believe in Ryan Garko...........

“I mean if I’m riding with a trunk full of heroin the last thing I want to do is draw attention to myself.”

But if you were the kind of guy f’ed up enought to ride with a trunk full of heroin, you would not care to be safe at all.

If you were a law abiding citizen who respects simple traffic laws, you sure as shit would not be carrying tons of heroin in the first place.

People rarely make one bad decision surrounded by a bunch of good decisions.

True, true.....

Can’t argue with that.

BUT if I was gonna do some f-ed up shit like that, I’d either not stop for the pigs or pay a stooge a few hundred to carry my shit for me lol
