Cavs Fall Short Of Four In A Row - Lose To Nets 95 - 87

The Cavaliers found themselves in a familiar position tonight. A ten point halftime lead, a horrific 3rd quarter and a grinder down the stretch. The only difference being the outcome of the ball game. The Cavs could not find their rhythm down the stretch and in turn fell to the Nets 95-87.

J.J Hickson lead the Cavaliers with 15 points, while Antawn Jamison and Ramon Sessions added 14. The Cavaliers shot 44% from the floor to the Nets 41% and were once again out rebounded 48-40.

The Cavaliers looked very tired at times in the second half and it seemed to be reminiscent of the Cavaliers teams of the past. Tempo and up and down play have become the staple of this ball club, but tonight it seemed as if the Cavaliers were a step slow down the stretch.

Lets hope the Cavaliers can use the next two and a half days to re-group, rest and come out prepared to play against a Pacers team who shot lights out just one night ago.

yeesh that’s ugly. Didn’t watch the game, but the guard play seemed atrocious, and once again, opposing guards who are quick rip us to shreds. I can also live with Gibson being streaky, but not Mo. Can’t wait for someone to step up on this team…

College basketball just became more interesting...
