The Cavs still maintain Wally World's Bird Rights. Despite what he says, he has no intention of returning to the NBA as his knee is shot. But because they have his rights, they can sign him in a sign-and-trade and use his contract to pick give a struggling team some salary cap relief in exchange for a PF.
I sincerely hope it isn't to package him with JJ Hickson or Big Z to bring in Antwan Jamison.
