Cavs' Darnell Jackson Dominates; Danny Green's D-League Debut

Erie BayHawks 114, Dakota Wizards 108 (Box Score)

Hey Fear The Sword faithful - my name is Scott, the SBNation D-League blogger over at Ridiculous Upside.  I wasn't able to watch last night's game, unfortunately, but came over to spread some D-League propaganda anyway.

Darnell Jackson benefited from some easy buckets and porous interior defense, but it's hard to detract from his 34 point, 12 rebound effort.  Either way, I've been told that he's headed back to Cleveland Friday morning due to the injury to Shaquille O'Neal.

Danny Green came off the bench to contribute 15 points and five assists, but he shot just 4-of-13 from the field.  Like I said, I didn't watch, but it seems like his makes were mostly consisting of finishing alley-oops.

Another player that might be of interest, and who you most certainly noticed in the highlights, is Erie's point guard - and former Cav - Cedric Jackson.  Jackson finished with 19 points, 10 boards and nine assists.  He runs the fast break very well.

Anyway, I'm not sure how many of you will be as interested now that Jackson has been recalled, but I'll more than likely have an open thread/live blog for the BayHawks game Friday night since it will include Hasheem Thabeet, who was assigned yesterday and is the highest draft pick ever to play in the D-League.  Would be great if you could join me - it starts at 7pm your time and can be watched free online here.
