Source: Mavericks informed Ilgauskas will sign with Cavaliers
ESPN is reporting that the Dallas Mavericks were told by Herb Rudoy, the agent for Zydrunas Ilgauskas, that Z intends to re-sign with the Cavaliers as soon as he is eligible on March 22. I'll wait until Rudoy or Ilgauskas comes out and comfirms, but this news is hardly surprising.
It has been reported by Rudoy that Z would wait until sometime this week to make a decision, but prolonging the inevitable is hardly Z's style. Living in Cleveland, such a major part of this community, Z is hearing how fans are reacting, and he knows how his teammates feel about him.
One team, however, the Denver Nuggets, are not going to give up without a fight.
"I'm not giving up on that. ... I did talk to him [Sunday]." said Nuggets coach George Karl
Karl, though, declined to reveal specifics about his phone chat with Ilgauskas.

dont count on "trades" like these in the future
the CBA will most likely address this. my only problem with the whole thing is that it was a pre arranged deal big z was not going to even think about playing for the wizards.
see you in june
YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD YES!

as long as it's in the scope of the current rules then whatever
I find it funny when the likes of Phil Jackson and Doc Rivers complain about stuff like this when it doesn’t benefit them, but when another team does it it’s the worst thing in the world to happen since 9/11.
can’t wait til z(hopefully) re-signs with the cavs.
because I couldn't go for 3...

How, exactly, do you know that it was a pre-arranged deal?

With Shaq out now indefinitely, you
can bet Z will sign asap. The Cavs really need him now.
The Nuggets should go after Drew Gooden
That will give them another big man to deal with the Mavs and Lakers.
