The Clippers, according to another source within the organization, are hoping to persuade James to come if he also can pick his coach, and possibly his general manager.

Frankly, it's a brilliant move

I can’t see LeBron going to the Clippers….but if he was ever going to consider it, they gave him the best possible option. Choosing your own coach and GM is a very tantalizing offer.

It will fail, but you’ve got to give them credit for trying.

The pool of available coaches and GMs do not include the majority of current active NBA coaches and GMs. Soooooo, not so sure that another team’s reject coach or some college rookie coach is going to really attract Lebron, same goes for GM.
