Cavaliers officially clinch playoff berth

It was rarely in doubt, but at least it's now official. The Cleveland Cavaliers are going to the playoffs.

The Miami Heat have just lost to Charlotte 83-78, which was the clincher for the wine and gold. Cleveland can finish no worse than 50-32, Miami can finish no better than 50-32. We hold the tiebreaker, so we're in.

Now let's get that #1 seed.

too bad the cavs play on fox sports net ohio. if they played on nbc they could use that as an acronym for their playoff slogan – “nbc: nothing but a championship”.
