Washington Wizards win NBA Draft Lottery

The Washington Wizards were the big winners Tuesday night when the ping pong balls bounced their way, giving them the right to the first pick in the 2010 NBA Draft.  Most people believe that pick will be PG John Wall from Kentucky.  If the Wizards decide to look elsewhere, they could take a look at SF Evan Turner from Ohio State as well.

The rest of the lottery looks like this -

1.  Washington Wizards
2.  Philadelphia 76ers
3.  New Jersey Nets
4.  Minnesota Timberwolves
5.  Sacramento Kings
6.  Golden State Warriors
7.  Detroit Pistons
8.  Los Angeles Clippers
9.  Utah Jazz
10.  Indiana Pacers
11.  New Orleans Hornets
12.  Memphis Grizzlies
13.  Toronto Raptors
14.  Houston Rockets.

As it stands, the Cavaliers do not have a pick in this year's draft.

Wow.

I feel sorry for Wall if the Wiz get him.

If I were Wall, I’d be happy. Much better option than the Nets.

I’m happy for Evan Turner, getting to go to a place with some potential like the Sixers. Iguodala is already a beast, it’ll be interesting to see how the two play together.

maybe we can swap anthony parker to OKC to their lower first round pick and get a young center

Good result for the Cavs, I really think this knocks the Nets out of the running for Lebron. IMO it’s down to the Knicks, Bulls and us.

Yeah, that’s the most important thing. Without Wall or Turner, the Nets become much less appealing.

It’s too bad we don’t have a pick in the draft.
