2010 NBA Draft Open Thread
As it stands, the Cavaliers do not have a pick in either round of tonight's NBA Draft. That could ultimately change, however, with the Cavaliers rumored to be interested in moving up, possibly with Minnesota at 16 or 23.
Whatever happens, the wheels of the future already appear to be spinning with word that the Chicago Bull traded Kirk Hinrich to the Washington Wizards in a move that clears another $10 million off the Bulls cap number. That means they could likely sign not jut one max contract this summer, but two.
Get ready, Cavaliers fans, the roller coaster is just leaving the loading zone.

Still no moves from the Cavs...
I’m beginning to get disappointed. I was really hoping they could get into this draft early on. I’d like to see them go after the rights to Bledsoe. If they can somehow work out a big deal with the Thunder to get the rights to Bledsoe AND Aldrich that would be unreal.
I’m not at all disappointed.
I didn’t expect to be in the draft nor do I find it necessary by any means.
What is your preferred course of action?
Not trying to be a dick, just wondering. I’d personally love to see some of these players wearing wine and gold.
Sign and trade for another all-star. If that can’t happen, try our damnedest to keep what we have now.
I think our current roster hardly reached it’s potential, and I’m not opposed to seeing what a coach with some skills in making line-up adjustments can do with this quite loaded team.
Try telling LeBron that.
You do realize that if he isn’t happy with the team’s progress and leaves we’re not even close to being a contender anymore…
Good Lord, Hassan Whiteside is still available.
They should at least try to somehow get one of these next few picks. We need a C and Whiteside is a great defender.
Not any more.
