I have no articles backing this up. It is just something I have thought about and would like to share and see what your reactions are. I think all that has happen is getting kind of ridiculous. From teams basically dumping everyone but the balls boys to shed cap room to players gathering to figure out what the future of the NBA should look like. I think Stern is a weasel. I think that with the Ref conspiracy theories and the fixing of games, he really needs to do something to prove that he is still in charge and wants to preserve some of the sanctity of the NBA. This leads me to my question. I don't know much about Cap room and stuff like that so this may all be in vain. But what if the Commissioner lowered the Cap so that all of these teams who are shedding cash would only have enough to sign one super star ... unless another one wanted to take less money. This would throw a wrench in this whole "hey lets make an All-Star team" mentality. It would bring balance to an NBA that is quickly losing it. Now I know nothing has happened yet and this maybe will fix itself, but wouldn't it be great if the Commissioner took a stand. If he could show the fans that he wants a balanced NBA. Maybe I am just talking out of my ass, but it seemed like a great idea in my head. So what do y'all think?
