Ah I can hear that Europe song now...The Final Countdown.

The time is finally here...yes, of course I am referring to the end of the fiscal year. Oh, wait, not that...

Yes, the moment so many have waited for is here, the final day of June, the eve of free agency. Who will sign where? Will dreams be fired up or dashed? Will Cleveland be able to breathe a sigh of relief when all is said and done or will visions of Jim Thome, Albert Belle and Manny Ramirez be dancing in our heads (more like slogging through our minds)?

Free agency begins at 12:01 a.m. A Russian owner may even now be approaching Ohio's borders. South Beach is wondering if LeBron will join Dwayne. Chicago is wondering if, contrary to what Joakim Noah thought, something good might come out of northeast Ohio after all. New York is...well, it's New York,. so who knows what they are thinking.

Anyhow...nervous time is here. Buckle up, and, if you want, if you desire, if you need LeBron James to stay a Cavalier...send all the karma you can muster.

I mean, come on. People don’t give the man enough credit. His legacy growing up here, playing here, becoming a championship winning, curse destroying, HOF legend will do far more for his legacy (and ultimately popularity & $) than going anywhere else. Keep the faith Cleveland!
