LeBron Back in Cleveland
Hello Cavs fans i am an Atlanta sports fan and had a big question
What is reaction of Cavs fan gonna be when LBJ comes to Cleveland?
I know he left you guys to win the rings and he was a hometown boy. But in reality he owed you guys nothing, he is a freeman so he can sign with whoever he wants. I'm not backing LBJ up i'm just saying he was a free agent and free agents are allowed to sign whereever they want. He also gave you guys the best basketball you have ever seen.
So when LBJ comes back will he recieve a terrible welcome, boos and cheers, or all cheers? It's also not gonna be for a while so keep in mind maybe you have cooled down since leaving town

outsiders perspective here
its gonna be nothing but boos IMO.
He had the right to leave, but the way he did it upset a lot of people in Cleveland/ across the country and made the situation worse.
Adam Morrison has more rings than Lebron, Bosh, and Wade combined?

Well, at long last, I’ve finally returned home.

Hey bluexfalcon
What brings you here?

Rights are not the issue; reasons are. LeGutless had no legitimate reason to leave.
The Cavs ownership had run every decision by him and given him everything he wanted for 7 years. If he was unhappy with the team that had the best record in the NBA for the last 2 seasons, he had no one to be angry with but himself. If he thought the team was a mess that couldn’t win a championship, then it was his mess. Adults don’t walk away from messes they have made and expect someone else to clean it up. Brats do.
I will never cheer for LeBrat again, and despite being the best individual player in Cavs history, he does not deserve to have his number retired. He has earned every boo that he will very certainly receive.
Every pessimist thinks himself a realist. In the case of Cleveland sports fans, they are probably right.
Retire LeBron’s number in Cleveland?
I’m a Heat fan, but that would seem like a cold day in hell type of occurance.
Denver: 32-32 until we're not.
if he had won us a championship
then maybe

This is my point exactly.
The Cavs have 3 hall of fame players and 6 retired jerseys. None of them has accomplished anything close to what LeTurncoat has done.
LeTraitor is the only Cav to be voted MVP (twice), only Cav to be rookie of the year, led us to our only Finals appearance, only Cav to win the scoring title, played only 7 years and now holds Cavs all time records for: Minutes played, field goals made, steals and points scored.
LeBail is clearly the best player in the history of the Cavs. Despite all of this, I firmly believe he will never join the 6 other retirees in the rafters of the Q, nor should he.

Kinda like the words ‘Heat’ and ‘fan,’ nowadays, eh?

Put Bron
on nearly any team in the NBA and they will atleast be very close to having the highest record in the NBA
No single player, not even LeEgo, is a team by himself.
LeGutless was on the Cavs for 5 years before they finally won the best record. Plenty of other teams this past year had rosters no better than the Cavs during those days.
People are predicting the current Cavs as a 30 win team without LeQuit. 9 teams last year had less than 30 wins. Not to mention that in most cases LeTurncoat would have to replace an existing player of some value on teams that did win more than 30 games. LeDouche may very well have added 30 wins to this Cavs team that is composed of complements specifically recruited to help him, but he would not have the same effect on just any team.
Do you really think that if he had replaced Melo on the Nuggets they would have gotten more than a handful of additional "W"s, if any?
Even with LeTraitor, Bosh and the rest of the ring-wraiths that Miami has signed, do you seriously believe that they are going to add 30 wins to the 47 they already had last year? Barring injury, they may eventually threaten the Bulls’ record 72 win season, but it won’t likely be next year, and they won’t crush it by going 77-5.
Stars matter, but no one person can do it alone.

wounds arent about to heal
lebrons last act before leaving cleveland was choking to boston. And then all the “special” stuff was absolutely ridiculous and humiliating. And, he never took cleveland to the top. So no, hes not going to receive a warm welcoming back, for at least 5-10 years.
yea that special was a joke
i mean it really was laughable how he said it was for Boys and Girls Club…he just wanted to make sure everyone knew where he was going
OJ didn't do it
and how much ACTUALLY went to the boys and girls clubs? that was never made that clear (at least from what I saw) and definitely not as much money as it was made out to be

Thanks for all your opinions
IMO LeBron is a douche full of himself(but i thought of him this way even when he was a Cav so imagine how big a douche i think he is now that he is a Heat)
OJ didn't do it
OJ didn't do it, eh?
Tell me more. I like hearing different sides of a story.

he had a right to leave
but after having the trust of the whole city
to the point where they built the team to his specifications
and to just leave without notifying the team earlier so they could maybe re organise the roster
its like if the big truck decepticon left the contructorbots just before a fight and the other four are like ‘WTF man? now we can’t change into the big transformer! and here come the autobots and now we’re f*cked’
That deserves a boo in my books
and no more chalk dust for him.

I say just don't say anything.
Silence speaks volumes. I’d also refuse to speak of him as anything but a pseudonym never using his real name or any variation of it. I’d just refer to him as The Free Agent.

We referred to him on the Knicks boards for the past season and this summer as

Ah, a Knicks fan!
Well, LeBron didn’t sign with either of our teams, so…we cool?

Marty Mart sighting!
Maybe we’ll do that after next season. For now, the anger shouldn’t fade yet.

I also will never use his given or self-given names, but I just can’t resist adding “Le” to insults.
It always used to irk me when trolls stomped in and call him “LeBronze” or “LeCrybaby”, but only because I secretly thought that some of those names were witty and clever. Now that I feel no impulse to overlook LeBoor’s character flaws, I want to call him “Le” names too.

Stands for “Loves (giving) Blow Jobs?” I think that’s what it actually stands for.
...But if he pulls the rug on his quarterback, Reid must do it knowing that he let McNabb down more than McNabb ever let him down.

As a Buckeye fan I'm a big fan of Turner.
My only worry is that his bad turnover habit will take over.
Oh, and there’s absolutely no chance in hell we get him in any way unless he wants to come back to Ohio when he’s a free agent 4 years from now.
I live in Cincinnati. I'm a fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Cincinnati sports teams. Besides UC, I'm a Xavier fan for basketball. I also like the Ohio State Buckeyes for all sports.
My name is Tyler. So I guess now you know about me.

Nobody’s saying LeBum didn’t have a right to do what he did. But having a right to do something doesn’t mean you should do it, or that there aren’t repricussions. I have a right to tell an old woman she’s ugly, but should I do it? The problems are manifold. For one thing, he did it in such a way that handcuffed the organization. Once he made his betrayal, most big free-agents were signed, trades were made, all the while the Cavs could make no moves in hopes LeBoob woould resign. He went on international TV and gave no heartfelt apology, essentially giving Cleveland the perverbial middle finger and embarassing NE Ohio in the process. It proved he never cared about NE Ohio, he is all about himself. He went back on his promise to bring Cleveland a title (yes, he promised). He proved he is a follower, not a leader. He will never be a Jordan, Magic, or Bird, he blew his chance to achieve their stature. And for what? He’s not assured of a championship. I know in his mind, he’s already won, but far from it. This may well blow up in his face. You’re from Atlanta, wouldn’t you love the Hawks to give him a run? There never was an athlete with such close ties to the community he played in who made a decision like this. This situation is not comparable to any other. Needless to say, when he returns to Cleveland, he is gonna have a rough time.
Lebron could have expressed his decision to the public like all the other FA's did
but he just had to put on a 1 hour show to take a giant dump on the city of cleveland.

It's Kobe's world, but Lebron's just living in it. -- Czheck
