More Than A Player - Cavaliers Organize 'Fan Tunnel' For LeBron Meeting

For the past week, CAVS fans have shown their support for LeBron James by reinforcing there is ‘no place like HOME’. On Saturday morning, the Cleveland Cavaliers executive team, including GM Chris Grant and new head coach, Byron Scott, will make their pitch to LeBron James and team.

CAVS fans are encouraged to wear CAVS gear and create a "fan tunnel" down East 9th Street to show their support and solidarity as LeBron James makes his way to the meeting Saturday morning.

WHERE:
HOME signs will be distributed at the corner of Euclid and E. 9th streets in downtown Cleveland.

WHEN:
Saturday, July 3rd at 10 am

I’m sorry, but who here really enjoys having a city be held hostage (in a manner of speaking) by one man?

This is getting utterly ridiculous. I’m thinking I don’t really care where he chooses to play now.

Blake: Thanks to you, I am damaged beyond repair!!

I'm getting to where I say I'm losing interest as well.

When I say it, I’m full of crap. I go home and the first thing I do is go on realgm.com or on here to pick up the latest news on LeBron and whether he’ll resign. He is this franchise’s hope and it’s either championship contension or rebuilding. It sucks that he has people “held hostage” but he’s really just that good.

I love it!

I get to see who the real people are and who have no clue about reality and who think nothing any Cleveland team does is wrong. Face it without Lebron Cleveland has no sports. I am certaintly hopefully he will stay. Need to hold on to some of my Ohio roots. I am sure the Cavs could rebuild without Lebron bit would be such a deflating thing it would be hard to see. Lets face it this wouldn’t be as big of a deal if we coul the Indians and Browns to build winners but the have shown no interest in doing so. So it is all about Lebron.

I am half tempted to hope LeBron leaves, just so we don’t have to listen to your crap anymore.

That

is one of the most foolish things I have ever heard anyone ever say. You would wish that the Cavs lose their star player one who will bring a championship to a town that needs one more than any other just so you don’t have to hear the facts about the other sports franchises in town. You need to seriously think about what you just said. If I am wrong for expecting my teams to put competitive teams on the field year and year out and I am not allowed to grumble about what I see as less than that then that is awful. I understand that sports is a business and that it might make more sense in many ways to save money by going cheap but as a fan I don’t care about that I only care about winning an losing and I am tired of losing and not winning championships. Don’t mistake my passion for someone starting crap. I want my teams to win and I get upset when they don’t and when they are not pushing to win a championship not just every single year but every single day. If it is wrong to love winning then it is wrong to even care about sports at all. I don’t cheer for teams so I can do a mathematical equation that proves some theory. I cheer for my teams to win bottom line. I don’t care how it gets done as long as it gets done. As a coach I always expect my players to do their best and give 110% cliche, so I can’t in good faith expect less of the teams I cheer for. It is also not wrong of me to stop cheering for a team if I feel they are not doing that. It would be like staying in a marriage that isn’t working just because I should. Why put yourself and others through pain when it would be best to cut ties and move on.

Read my first comment,

half tempted
, that means I do not wish it, but wishing it would achieve one of my goals, which is not to hear your crap anymore. I truly hope LeBron stays. And if he does, PLEASE stop having comments about the Indians and Browns on this site. This is a Cavs site, if you want to discuss the other teams, go to those blogs, unless you’ve been banned on them all.

If you just move your allegiances to whichever team is on top, kudos to you, you are a bandwagoner. Since you are now a Red Sox fan, please stop posting things about the Indians. None of us want to hear about it.
