LeBron James Will Announce Free Agent Destination In Primetime

The end is near.  Hopefully for the Cavaliers it marks the continuation of the LeBron James Era in the Wine and Gold.

ESPN is reporting on twitter that James will make his announcement on the sports network at 9PM this Thursday.

Breaking News - Sources: LeBron James will announce decision on his free agency Thursday at 9pm EST on ESPN.less than a minute ago via web

The network doesn't offer any details as to which team James is leaning towards.

It seems fitting that the biggest circus in, well, the history of sports, will be decided by a media circus.  LeBron James has maintained control of this entire scenario - from where the meetings were held to what has been disseminated by the media.  Throughout all the conjecture, rumor and innuendo, one thing seemed certain - when the time for an announcement it would have to be something new, something different.

It will be.

The wait will soon be over, Cavaliers fans.  Not only will we find out if LeBron James is going to leave hom for the bright lights and big city, but we'll find out if he has the stones to do it on LIVE TV.

Stay tuned...

Wow!

It’s begining to look like this whole thing has been contrived and staged from the git-go. Amazing! Whatever happens, LeBron has already proven he is the face of the NBA and “owns” ESPN.

I'm Polish...what's your excuse?

ESPN is definitely his b****. That much is certain.
