It’s official; LeBron James is headed to Miami. Yeah, he might win a title or two. He’ll be the second most loved player in Miami, always behind Dwyane Wade. You know who’s going to be raising the Larry O’Brien Trophy after the game, Bron Bron? Not you. Wade is their hero and always will be. There go the Jordan, Bird and Magic comparisons. A better comparison would be, wait for it, Scottie Pippen. There’s nothing wrong with being Scottie Pippen and he was a great player in his own right, but LeBron is a very proud man. You know he wants to be considered the next MJ. He wants to be the greatest of all-time. Couldn’t he have waited for another star in Cleveland to be his number two? Chris Paul will be a free agent next year and has urged LeBron to stay in Cleveland under Byron Scott. He’s definitely interested. Win a title or two in Cleveland and the Jordan comparisons are on full blast. Good luck in Miami, second option. Thanks for the memories, I guess. Bitch.

LeBron just gave up his chance to be compared to the
Michael Jordans and the Kobe Bryants of the world. He will forever be in my mind a Julius Erving. Amazing athlete and showman, but never mentioned in the top tier players of all time comparisons. Magic Johnson is the best he can be now (which is by no means an insult.), but by choosing Miami he gives up on a legacy.
