Sources report that the Cleveland Cavaliers have traded Minnesota's 2013 second round pick for Boston's Semih Erden and Luke Harangody. Erden has been the player that the Cavaliers have been trying to get from the Celtics all along. The deal was reported by Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

I'm no expert

but for a future 2nd round pick to get a young player with size that is a willing defender, I like it a lot.

Calmer than you are.

Yeah

Sounds pretty good right now. Cavs have been trying for Erden for a while now and looks like they did it.

2 young, mobile guys for 1 second round pick? Hard to hate this one. I see more potential than I can see it not working out. I still believe in coach Scott. With the draft picks we have, it seems the team is comitted to getting him young quick talent that can work his offense.

College basketball just became more interesting...

Our frontcourt got killed by 20 rebounds last night. Anything helps. I wish we had Harangody’s motor in Hickson’s body. Also, Hollins sucks!!!

Agreed.

It’s hard not to like this move. It was only a 2013 second rounder too. If that is a high price to pay then the Cavs rebuilding process has gone horribly wrong.

Calmer than you are.

Solid move

Hollins will now finally meet bench for good.

These guys probably wont ever be great, but trading a 2nd rounder for them is a pretty nice deal.
