Baron Davis: "The Beard Is On It's Way!"

Baron Davis posted a note of thanks on his FaceBook page to Los Angeles Clippers while assuring Cavaliers fans that he is on his way to Cleveland:

First and foremost, I want to say thank you to the fans in LA and all of Clipper Nation. Not many guys get the chance to play at home in front of their family and friends the way I have been able to the past couple seasons, and I am grateful for that opportunity. My former teammates will always be my family, and I wish them and the organization nothing but the best.

I can't wait to join my new team, bring good energy and help us win games. I'm ready to call The Q home and bring some excitement!!!

See you soon Ohio! The Beard is on its way!

Just as agent Bill Duffy said, Davis is saying and doing all the right things.  Let's hope it continues.  I, for one, am ready to give him the benefit of the doubt.

My expectations for Davis have already been met!

Any actual on court ability is icing on the cake at this point!

Don't be afraid to fight for your rights!

This is a positive display of sportsmanship. Look, I know Cleveland isn’t LA, but I’m glad he’s taking the high road on this. I look forward to him being here.

Adam Foote still blows!

Looking forward to the new blood! But I do hope this doesn’t cut into Sessions playing time, as he has come a long way this season and has been one of the few bright spots.

Forget the bad hype

Davis will be fine. Unlike Mo who was a clear block of Sessions to develop, Davis is a vet who will be willing to sit with a sore this or that while Ramon plays. Figure he adds a little stability to the roster even though he will not necessarily be playing huge minutes. Scott might trust him to stablize things when this young team loses their focus as the vet point.
