Iguodala has been linked to the Orlando Magic in a deal built around Hedo Turkoglu and Jameer Nelson, although sources near the 76ers say that's the least attractive offer they have received. ... The 76ers have had their share of suitors, with Cleveland offering to absorb Iguodala's $13.5 million salary using their $14.5 million Traded Player Exception.

Yes I would.

Turk Doo Doo is best known for gettin his shot packed against the Pistons in the playoffs by Tayshaun a few years back and ultimately his position is easily replaceable. The Magic already have a boatload of cash tied up with Arenas so if they want to balance where they’re paying out money, then they pretty much have to move Nelson since I doubt anyone would touch Arenas at this point. To be able to get Iggy back for Hedo and Nelson seems like a steal to me…

IMO

Talent wise, They get ride of Nelson now there starting PG is Gilbert (who is on the back end of his career and not that good anymore, i doubt can stay health with a full season of starting and not a good leader on or off the court, as PGs should) and the back up is Williams(who well come on).

I see where your coming from with the money, even though next 2 season only saving about 4 mill. I’m sure there only goal is to free up as much money as possible to throw at Howard. Even though I don’t see how appealing it would be for Howard to stay when they traded the second best player(Nelson) and the starting SF(Iggy) and PG(Gilbert) contract’s are up soon and most likely Orlando doesn’t want to resign either to much because who knows how much longer they have left.

Nelson is immensely overrated...

Hedo is too. I think the Magic should go after Monta Ellis after tehy try to get Iggy.

Ya hedo sucks

but Nelson is still a good above avg PG and Do you really want Arenas as your starting PG at this point in his career? Iggy is not as good as he use to be and IMO Nelson would be more valuable to a team than Iggy right now.

If I'm Orlando....

and my starting five could be…

PG – Gilbert Arenas
SG – J.J. Redick
SF – Andre Iguodala
PF – Brandon Bass
C – Dwight Howard

Bench
PF – Ryan Andersen
SG – Quentin Richardson
PF – Daniel Orton

….then I’m jumping all over that. And I’m trying to get another big and a backup PG in the draft. First of all tehy’ll have to buy back into the 1st Round (late). They should be thinking about getting Nikola Vucevic & Shelvin Mack. Sign a couple of undrafted FA also.

need NBA ready players

your back court right now is made up of 3 brittle players. Gilbert(age29) has played all 82 games once and Redick(age26) has only played all 82 games once also and Richardson(age31) has never played all 82 games.

I don’t think they can jump high enough in the draft to get a good NBA ready guard and I don’t if there going to have enough money left to go after good FAs

so fill your team with players very far from NBA ready, who will most likely start a couple games as rookies.

O ya im sure Howard will be PUMPED to sign an extension for that team.

I would too

Hedo isn’t what he used to be(2008) and the Magic NEED someone who can drive to the basket almost as bad as the cavs do. Besides, Iggy plays good defense.

WANT

HELP IS ON THE WAY
