Not sure if anyone’s noticed but Rubio has really slipped off scoring and shooting wise of late. THat top spot in everyone’s rookie rankings will be Kyrie from here on out hopefully.

by kennesawmountainwahoo on Jan 24, 2012 7:54 PM CST up reply actions

He won’t lose his athleticism in 2 years. He’s 27 years old. Don’t think it’d be up to Grant, though. It’d be up to Gilbert and there’s no way he does that.

I think OPace was describing two different scenarios.

by kennesawmountainwahoo on Jan 24, 2012 7:48 PM CST up reply actions

No, I mean Windy states that he might come back, but not in 2014. So it wouldn’t be till when….2018? By then, his knees will be cranky. There would be no reason for that.

Yanks are the Empire. Red Sox are the Empire with PR claiming they are the Rebellion.

by OPace on Jan 24, 2012 7:48 PM CST up reply actions

Even when he loses his athleticism, he’ll still be decent. He’ll still have his strength and he’ll still be good at handling the ball and passing. If he can refine his post game and work on his jumper, he could be good into his mid 30’s. But no, he can never return to the Cavs.

Yet, he still scores 22 and gets 12 boards a night. Once he learns defense, he’ll be an MVP candidate.
