Win!!! BUT I wrote in the pre game about it.... I don't get it:

How can it be that in a game where your starting SF does very well, and his substitute – has a more quite night - the starter gets 22 minutes and the sub gets 27 ???

(Casspi, Gee)

That is a questionable the way to give your starter the confidence he needs.

by cats&shoes on Jan 25, 2012 8:29 PM CST reply actions

Where have you been all season?

by johnf34 on Jan 25, 2012 8:38 PM CST up reply actions

Casspi got injured

Carmelo Anthony is supposedly one of the best small forwards in the nba and at points Casspi was better on the court. I think that’s enough to earn some faith. I haven’t seen the starting power forward Antawn Jamison dunk the ball all year long. I think that’s a lot worse for the cavs than any deficiency Casspi has. Casspi didn’t start the season well but the environment around him was out-of-control. He is the first player from Israel a basketball country that should of had nba players before him. The technical coaching in Israel is poor, Sacramento was a mess, an he had to adjust to a foreign culture with no one to really model his behavior from. The first Israel player shouldn’t of been from a Israeli-Afrikanner background and they’re not known for being congenial. That can be a little much for someone. To america he’s something new, something we’ve never seen before.

Gee- shooting guard body that plays small forward, good skills but nothing special.

by Kevin.S on Jan 25, 2012 9:15 PM CST up reply actions

Casspi has no role model in the NBA

I’ve been following Casspi and Parker in the NBA, and while Parker is now at the end of his career, Casspi is still at the beginning. He had no help in Sacramento, and in Cleveland,so far, he seems to get yanked around a lot.

Unfortunately, he’s on a young, rebuilding team without a sobering input from any decent veterans, and it’s a sink or swim situation.

It’ll be up to the coach to provide some leadership on a team that has two rookies as starters, and one aging power forward who can either be very good, or very bad, on any given night.

Hopefully, Scott will be up to the job, as Casspi can be quite a decent player, in the right atmosphere.
