I said playing Pargo behind Irving was a smart move based on statistics from a small sample size. The small sample also showed Pargo played well with Casspi and Waiters. This was evident in the win against Philly also.
The second thing that Scott did that I said he should do is play Waiters longer. Waiters played 39 minutes tonight and just 28 or 29 minutes last game. The stats show Waiters is one of the most efficient players on the Cavs roster. Even when he's not having a great shooting night, he's still +11. He scored 16 points with 6 assists with 7-22 shooting.
You can also play Leuer and Samuels with Pargo and they will play better based on the statistics. It's a small sample size but it's real game time vs. practice. Here's Pargo's breakdowns with different 5 man units.

Now there's some red flags with Pargo but sometimes being put in the moment erases some of these things. Think Jeremy Lin. When he started in NY he was playing very well. He now has a slow start in Houston so maybe his stats were inflated because he elevated his game because of the moment.
