NBA cracks down by warning Donald Sloan for flopping in the Bulls-Cavaliers game Friday. Check out how hilarious this is.
Donald Sloan was warned today by the NBA for this flop during the Bulls-Cavaliers game this past Friday night.
To be honest, I'm just in complete and total shock that Anderson Varejao was not the first Cavalier warned under the new flopping rules this season. I had set 3.5 games as my own personal over/under for Varejao to be warned under these rules, but it looks like Sloan beat him to the punch.
Just to go over the new flopping rules, here are the penalties for repeat flopping violators this year:
- Violation 1: Warning
- Violation 2: $5,000 fine
- Violation 3: $10,000 fine
- Violation 4: $15,000 fine
- Violation 5: $30,000 fine
Hopefully Sloan doesn't ever hit the second violation penalty. Otherwise he will be playing that game for basically no money, as he only makes $5,775.61 per game on his $473,600 salary for this season.
