The Cleveland Cavaliers won back to back games for the first time since early March. But they didn't make it particularly easy, narrowly defeating the Wizards 87-84.
The Cavaliers won. It wasn't pretty but they won. Kyrie Irving dominated the second quarter, but then had a really rough second half. He missed some crucial free throws and almost let the game slip away. Fortunately, it didn't cost the Cavs and they won 87-84 over the Washington Wizards. Cleveland improves to 7-23 on the season.
Kyrie finished with 26 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds. Tristan Thompson recorded his fourth consecutive double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Tyler Zeller was an unmitigated disaster on both ends of the floor. Dion Waiters was pretty awful too, but hit a big three down the stretch. His counterpart, Bradley Beal was also terrible though.
Jordan Crawford and Emeka Okafor led the Wizards with 17 points a piece.
Now, let's never speak of this game again.
