Around SBN: Win or Lose, Boston Celtics' New Big 3 Era A Success

Air Jordan 12 Campaign: Fly Through

SBNation is doing a three part series in collaboration with Jordan Brand to determine which athletes determine certain characteristics. Today's post has five plays of NBA players demonstrating "Fly Through". These plays include posterizing dunks, powerful blocks, etc, from Jordan Brand players.

I encourage you to go to SBNation's home page and check out these ridiculous plays and then vote on which one you think is the best. Remember when Dwyane Wade posterized Anderson Varejao as he flew down the lane a few years back? Well yeah, that's one of the entries.

Who doesn't like ridiculously athletic dunks? Check em out and vote for which one you think is the best.

Now, this contest only involves players that are signed with Jordan Brand, but that doesn't mean we can't have some of our own. If I had to pick one play that best exhibited the concept of "Fly Through" from this year's Cavaliers team, it would definitely have to be Alonzo Gee's ridiculous dunk over Dahntay Jones.

Are there any plays that can top this? Leave some of your nominees in the comments and be sure to vote on SBNation's page that I linked to earlier.

i dont understand how Gee didn’t get picked for the dunk contest!!! Its gonna be bad with the less than stellar crew and only one round!! Only the guy in the contest is even a good dunker

I know. The stars that don’t want to do the dunk contest have made it an afterthought. It kinda sucks now. And that, we can legitimately blame LeBron for.

His name is Alonzo Gee and he plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. This stuff is nothing more than a popularity contest.

O i understand that(still sad tho), but it’s not like they’re big names!

Paul George- Actually talented will win
Derrick Williams- Doesn’t play that much, but was popular until the season started then died. Decent hops
Iman Shumpert- just a joke! just trying to get Lin there pathetic(not sure who is the replacement)
Chase Budinger- not famous and good not a high flyer
Jeremy Evens- I have no idea who he is, but decent hops

Doesn’t matter anyways its only one round stupid! I will still be voting for Gee!!!

I am actually pumped for the Skills challenge(GO IRVING) and the 3 pt contest(many good contestants). Skills usually sucks and only watching because of Irving, but the 3pt is always good and better this year.

3pt:
Kevin Love
Anthony Morrow
Joe Johnson(dont know who will replace him)
Mario Chalmers
Ryan Anderson
Defending champ James Jones

That dunk is sick. I really hope Gee keeps getting better, he’s probably my second favorite Cav.

I love both of gees slams from the first heat game as well. My two favorite dunks post lebron though are eyenga over gasol, and that one nasty alley oop from BD to gee. Not the coolest, but i remember them so vividly because of the situations they happened in.
