How did you become a Cavs fan??

I saw they made posts like these recently on DBN and LGT and I was just wondering also how everyone else on Fear the Sword became a Cavs fan. I'm also relatively new here so if you guys made a post like this a while back then sorry for making the same post. My story of how I became a Cavalier is after the jump.

My story is pretty long and you might find it boring, so if you just want to leave your comment on the bottom it's cool. Growing up, I lived in a town about 40 minutes west of Cleveland, meaning I could either be a Cleveland fan or a bandwagoner. Even making it harder to be a sports fan I grew up in a household that had no real sports fans (Damn you mom and Dad) and I really only first heard of the Cavs being really good around 05 when we where in the playoffs and I saw that we where doing good and I was amazed. It's about then I started to worship the Whore of Akron and the whole Cavs franchise. In about sixth grade for me the Cavs where making their run to the finals and this was the first real time I started watching games regularly. All of the girls I considered to be hot at the time where wearing 23 Cav jerseys and Varejo wigs. I was worshiping my TV as He put up 20 some consecutive points on the Pistons and 48 points total. When the Cavs reached the finals though is when I really got excited and started to really be a true Cavs fan. Even though we got swept by the Spurs, I was a Cav fan for life.

The next three years as you all know where about the same, Cavs win a crap load of game in the Regular season then Lebum chocked in the playoffs(Damn Boston and Orlando for those series). Then, The Decision came. I watched for thirty or so minutes, praying to god every five seconds asking for Lebron to stay in Cleveland, and when he said what he said, I was shocked for a moment, and I felt so depressed the next few weeks. I was lucky and wasn't one of the suckers to buy the 23 jersey of his. I probably would of burned it. The next season was so tough for me, especially the streak(It still hurts). I wore a Cavs shirt almost every gameday, hoping the streak would end with this game, and when we finally did win, it was like a freaking gorilla was just tossed off my back.

My favorite memory from the season though came on the Whores second trip to the Q since his decision. I was actually in florida over spring break and I had to watch the game on the heatles station at a local bar. It felt so amazing with my Cav shirt on destroying that team. I remember looking at all of the heat fans at the bar and they looked more confused then Dennis after the Dentist kid. For that one night, it was one of the best damn feelings in the world being a Cavs fan.

Since then we have had this season, where even though where not out of the playoffs totally yet, I wouldn't be really crushed if we don't make it. I have found a new Messiah in Kyrie Irving to worship every time he makes another game winning shot. I really would love to build a team that could freaking destroy the Heatles one day and beat them in a playoff series(That would be so damn sweet). Even though now some of the kids in my grade have left their Cavs alliances to be Bandwagon fans of other teams, I remain a Cav diehard. Some became Bulls fans, and some still wear their lebum sh*t(Theirs this one guy with a Heat Lebum jersey, every time I pass him, I cough and say "F*%# the Heat). Now, it has been a little harder to keep up on the Cavs with the constant homework I'm getting and think about where I wanna go to college, it has been hard to totally keep up on my Cavs. Which is why I have enjoyed finding Fear The Sword, to help keep me enjoying the Cleveland Cavaliers. So, what is your story, how did you become a fan of the Cavs?
