This article is pretty much based on my opinion but I think it's good to share. Well, I guess the lottery could have been worse but I'm still a little upset because I don't think the top three picks could have played out much worse for the Cavs. As long as the Hornets wouldn't have gotten the first pick I would have been fine. I would've been happy if that would've resulted for multiple reasons. Whoever got the first pick would'be obviously picked Davis. The Hornets don't need a guard due to the fact that they have Eric Gordon. The other two teams however (Bobcats, Wizards) however could do with a guard. If the Hornets didn't receive the first pick but second or third they would be forced with not taking a guard (I would think). This upsets me because I really wanted to get another scoring threat out of this draft. I really do want Beal badly. I know others have their own opinions' and might disagree. He's a very athletic player who can score by shooting a jumper, or taking it to the hole. He's also a great defender. He also still has a chance of being at number four. The thing with Gilchrist is that he's already and elite defender but needs to work on his offensive game. If we took MKG, I wouldn't be that mad but I doubt he will still be there at pick number four. As for Harrison Barnes, I don't know about him yet. From what I've heard he really produced good numbers when he had the right PG to create for him. He's more of a catch and shoot type player. I guess that wouldn't be too bad especially if Kyrie gets better and can create and find him.
Hell no I don't want Drummond. "He looks like Tarzan and plays like Jane." Size can be deceiving. I also don't want Robinson. I would feel that it would be a waste of out no. 4 pick last year with Tigger. I would feel that we kind of gave up on him. I want to see how he will progress and grow and like his hard nosed style of play.
What I'm about to say is getting a little ahead of myself but I heard a Cleveland sports radio announcer mention it. He mentioned a trade offer between Portland and the Cavaliers. We would trade our no. 4 pick for their no. 6 and no. 11 picks. I would take this in a heartbeat. Imagine us with something like Barnes and PJ or Lamb and Rivers. It would be pretty great. Maybe get Fab Melo with the Lakers pick, I don't know who to get with that pick that much though. Well, there is my thought and analysis of the lottery/draft; give me yours in comments. Thank you.
