With the NBA Draft in our rearview mirror, we make a quick turnaround towards free agency. The period to sign free agents starts on Sunday and the Cavaliers have to make decisions on their restricted free agents (Alonzo Gee, Semih Erden, Luke Harangody) on Friday.
Once free agency starts, it is rumored that the Cavaliers have interest in signing backup point guard, Jonny Flynn. Personally, I don't like Flynn. He hasn't shown anything in the NBA since being drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves. For some reason, however, the Cavs have been linked to Flynn for a while. According to Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal, the Cavs will look into signing Flynn to backup Kyrie Irving.
- Everyone rightfully focused on draft, but free agency begins Sunday. Expect #Cavs to pursue unrestricted free agent Jonny Flynn to be the backup point guard. Interest there on both sides.
