Do the cavs have the assets right now, to get Bynum away from the Lakers? With Cleveland being on Bynums' short list, why not take a shot at trading for him? We would get his bird rights and be able to sign him to a max five year deal. I believe the cavs would have to give up walton, andy, boobie and a couple of picks( which we have a lot).
Would trading for Bynum be totally derailing the Cavs' plan? Would it potentailly hurt the Cavs resigning our young soon to be stars? On the other hand, would this trade give the Cavs the second best young center in the NBA? Would it make the Cavs a playoff contender right now? And would it give Cavs fans the hope of the "NOW" rather than the "LATER"?
