I'm tired of listening to idiots out there talking about how long this owner and that owner will be willing to pay these luxury taxes. Sure no one wants to pay a tax of any kind, but do you really think that in the end it matters to these guys. Hell NO!! They are making a ton of money regardless if they are paying this tax or not. They report losses, but have ways of making that back, they depreciate there players like a Tool and Die Maker does his equipment. That is a blank check for the owners toward the bottom line whether it shows a loss or a profit. Many real companies show book losses, but when you add back the depreciation which is a NON CASH EXPENSE, you have a profit.

They will never open their books to the public because of all of their tricks on record within. Plus the income they receive from parking and concessions. Trust me they are making a killing and laughing all the way to the bank. Pro Sports use to be for the blue collar crowd now all you get at any of these games is a white collar crowd of business men and women. Even they aren't paying for their tickets, their companies are writing that cost off as a business expense. GET REAL PEOPLE AND THINK OF THE KIDS WHOSE FAMILIES CAN'T EVEN AFFORD TO TAKE THEM TO A GAME ANYMORE!!!!! I hope they all go bankrupt and we can all start fresh, players and owners. Yeh, I've go a chip on my shoulder over all of these guys.
