I can't believe the Cavs missed the opportunity to pick up Scola. $4 mil a year would have done it, and this would be a bargain with what is going to be paid to guys of lesser value. Three years at is his age is not a problem. Scola, Andy, Thompson and Zeller could all float the 4 and 5 spots. There are plenty of minutes even for Samuel. Someone always gets hurt, has anyone ever heard of depth. Think of the position we could be in with trade opportunities also. Scola would be a trade tool as of course would Andy. I'm not saying trade either, but it would put us in the drivers seat with any offers out there. Then of course you could hang on to all of this for the full three years to.
I just don't understand this at all. We bid on him supposedly but not enough? Heck, $5 mil is almost the vet minimum isn't it?
